In this polymer clay tutorial we will learn how to make a Faux Agate Geode with a hollow druzy covered center.
There are lots of new techniques in this project. It's much easier than it looks and plenty of fun, so I hope you enjoy it.

I am blown away by the creativity of this project. I am excited to see the next video when you make the slices. When I first saw the picture of the project I did not realize that these were faux that you made from polymer clays. So brilliant you are. Thanks for sharing. Love your tutorials.

Such an interesting approach to doing a polymer clay faux geode and quite different than any of the others I've seen! Just wanted to mention that another reason to keep wet/dry sandpaper wet when sanding polymer clay is to prevent the sanding dust (pulverized PVC plastic) from becoming airborne so you don't breathe it. Also, the curing time for UV resins can vary significantly, depending on the brand/formula. For example, a thin layer of Ultra Dome or EZ Dome needs to be cured for 30 minutes. (I find it's better to do multiple thin layers rather than a thicker layer of EZ Dome, if I want a thicker layer.) Thanks for another great tutorial!

Nice! You really captured the spirit of the geode here! As I'm watching this, I'm thinking it would also be fun to do in purple tones, to emulate amethyst formation in a geode. I love your gemstone series. Oooh, yes, I'd love to see how to make a geode slice 💕

Thank you for this wonderful video! It is very well explained, and the result is so beautiful that I will not resist long before putting myself in it! A little question: what glitter do you put in? You have not tried salt crystals surrounded by resin to give a more pronounced effect? I will try next ... Really thank you and thank you again!

I used glass glitter for the druzy. www.etsy.com/au/listing/668152082/silver-druzy-shards?ref=shop_home_active_21&frs=1 I haven't tried salt crystals yet, but I guess I'll have to give them a try now. Lol.
