using either eco friendly dye paper, plain paper with a type phrase, a piece of a clipping of say a birth announcement or wedding. or premade vintage paper. this is why I made the eco dye video so people didnt have to buy paper to make a pendant like this. it was fun but challenging to figure out how to get the paper to be secure and not worry about things separating later xoxo

One of the many reasons I really love watching you, is that you encourage us to use what we have, to really take a look at what we already have in our stash and around us instead of running out and buy something we might already have, maybe not the exact same, but things that are similar or a totally different that still would work beautifully 💜 Any you always give us options to get a similar look or style :) I really appreciate everything you do, everything you share, all the inspiration :) and the style you have here on YT, you make it feel like we are in the same room crafting together :) like crafting buddies :D Oh, that mini drill is a freaking weapon! I stabbed myself with the smallest one in my thumb, and that little bugger broke off, had to fiddle out the drillbit....sooo much blood....but I think I learned my lesson ;) Love how the pendents turned out :) Beautiful!

This style of working is what seperates art from crafting. Most crafters start out with kits, or if they follow a video or technique they see, they feel that they need to use the exact same materials and methods as what was shown. Then, after a while....they've accumulated some supplies, learned some techniques...and they start to see the potential of what their own creativity can bring to the table, rather than just following instructions. When that leap is taken, an artist is born.

I love the colour of your dyed paper! I dye paper with tea and coffee as well and have never used anything other than what was already in my cupboards. Everyone has a different idea of what is "perfect"... it's art, just go with it! Beautiful creations! Another tip... when using Distress Ink, if you don't have the "daubers" that are intended to be used with them, use a makeup sponge (the little triangle shaped ones) and tuck it into a pop bottle cap. It works! I've also just used them without the bottle cap.

Beautiful and creative! I had no idea that it was possible to bond paper to clay. I personally think the larger bails would look much better with the jump ring hole embedded into the clay so it doesn’t stick out so tall, but that seems easier to do with a backing.

Goof ups as u say are how we learn. I always show when things dont go perfectly or when things break burn what have you because maybe u guys can learn from my mistakes and say oh right dont do that this... will happen rather than u having to mess it up too. I've see plenty of videos where someone edits it and they were doing one thing like a few months ago a lady on here was making a leaf cane she got to a point made a mistake edited and fixed it w out telling the viewers what she had done and they called her out on it because if they were new and did not notice or know they would have messed the whole cane up people who had experience were like that vein in that leaf was not like that a second ago. Why hide it she should have just said crap I messed up this is how we will fix it well in my mind that's what should have happened we are all human right no one is perfect and it is OK not to be makes us unique 😉

Fimo liquid or Kato liquid works great to adhere paper or napkins to clay :) Great video

Have you tried to use bake and bond first instead of glue to adhere the paper to the clay?
