I'll be showing you a different bail and stringing technique in this one, so be sure to watch to the end.

I would LOVE it if dislikes required a reason be given. I think a lot fewer people would go around just disliking things willy-nilly if they had to justify it.

Beautiful!! I don't have a transfer paper so I did it with stamps. I made about 20 pieces of magnets. My dad's a stamp collector and I donated them to them. ❤️😆

A suggestion for trimming the mica shift, (learned from Cindy Lietz) put the clay on a bottle or similar curved surface. It is easier to trim a narrow strip at a time, less chance of gouging.

Another top drawer tutorial featuring a beautiful pendant. I love all of the techniques you presented and especially the image transfer as that is something I intend to investigate in my own designs. Also loved the combined mica shift and watercolor techniques. I really like it when you show new ways of doing something like the stringing and would be interested in seeing any of your experiments or variations on common elements. Keep up the good work Samantha and Team Jessama.

I really like the pendant. The image transfer is the only part I’m not so keen on, but that’s just personal taste. The stringing is really lovely and I would love to see some more ideas! Your videos are always brilliant. I can’t wait for the next one!!

Hi Jess! Once again the Japanese garden pedant is beauteous! Also, luv the new rat tail cording.... very nice finish to a perfect pendant. One question.... how large is the cord ( 1 - 2 mm) , how large is the hole in the metal spacer bead? Thanx so much for all your hard work! 👍🥰😍
@JessamaTutorials
@JessamaTutorials 4 жыл бұрын
It's about 2mm thick. The hole in the space I think is about 6mm. I had to push the cord through.

When I am making things that I have to form around a round form etc. I wrap the round form with news paper or a thin baggie cut open and wrap around it. Then I pull the (plastic stick out first then I pull the wrap out comes out great and form stays the shape. I plan to try it with polymer clay.

Samantha just wondering why you didn't use liquid clay on sides before you spread the soft clay on the baked piece? Was it because the ad did raw clay was just a very thin smear?
