I personally think that a small imperfection makes what you're doing a one of a kind piece, and you took the time to make it.. I prefer handmade things, blood, sweat and maybe tears and a whole lot of love goes into a piece...hugs Lynn Weasenforth 💯💜💛💙🌹☮️ps. I just found your channel and I have subscribed to your channel, I really love what I see so far...🤩

Hi Katie, you’re back! It’s so wonderful to see and hear you again. I’ve truly missed you and hope you were painting or doing something pleasant. I hope your biopsies came out well. That bowl is big and I had no clue you could just not use the base that was on the bowl of your choosing. That is so cool! Now you have a bottom to the bowl more to your liking. Well done. I can’t help but see a planter when I see it. So, if you have time and I realize yours is precious, whereas for significant reasons, I have so much of it, I was hoping you might know of a way to waterproof a vessel like yours. I’d hate to leave a plant in a plastic container inside of the piece you are making. I usually set a few glass rocks and a bit of smaller marbles for drainage for my plants. You know, I am one of those comment-reader persons. Who knows why. I got in the habit concerning political videos. I almost crapped when I read the idiot jerk who was so rude. I am so glad you know how to stand up for yourself. Your parents did a great job and you are so amazing to have your great attitude. I am so quiet when people say lousy things to me. I’m too afraid I’d let them have it - no time for a measured response. But that’s just what you gave. Seriously, I also couldn’t believe people would be that rude even though you said you received some. How completely rude!. Clearly this jerk follows your work so he knows what you do for a living. How you’ve been working such long days in that terrible suit (I’m grateful if it keeps you safe - don’t get me wrong) is a feat in itself. Yet you still share your life and ideas and talent with us. How many times were you finally going to get some sleep, only to change your mind and keep working on the many projects you’ve shared?!! And you very clearly said you were going to veneer it. Can you block this idiot? I don’t make you tube videos and so have no knowledge of how it works. Because most of us are amazed that you share your beautiful work as an artist with us, so we can learn with you - and you’re such a helpful teacher - not to mention the time it takes to edit these things, yet you ask for nothing in return. I never counted the numerous times you suggested we could speed up the videos if we just wanted that part of the content, so the jerk knew that part, too. I am so sorry you had to see that at anytime, let alone at 11 pm. We end up loving you for the loving friendship you give us. It’s called grace. You are a singular artist as you share yourself and your world and your knowledge of polymer clay with us. Not to leave out Josh, Jesse and Diesel! I think you’re so popular because you have beautiful polymer clay projects and you share the many traps we polymer clay people can fall prey to. That’s why many of us came to your channel. I know I stayed because you offered your friendship to us and talk with us just as if we were there in your basement with a cup of tea! You are so rare, that you help many of us feel free to experiment, goof up and learn how to fix whatever mistake was made. I can’t begin to thank you enough for all you’ve done. And yes, I am one of those people who have watched your videos a second and third time just because I’ve missed you. I could see you on fb but now I’ve deleted my account, so that’s gone. You are such a giver and you can see that we all - even the jerk - really missed your company. Well, this is so long. It’s great to see you make another polymer clay video and share more solutions and stories. This project is so great and filled with helpful information. I really didn’t know this could be done. I’m really excited to see your veneer when that video comes out. I can picture mine, but I need to find a glass bowl with that shape. Your other bowls were awesome and then some. Best wishes to you and yours.💕🌸🌾🌺 We all love you right back! P.S. I’m sorry for the question. I can see if I can find that info on-line. I was being lazy and just thought if you knew...

Since sculpey 3 is so soft, do you think it would be ideal to use for a trinket bowl?? Just curious on your opinion, I'm kinda new to the clay world:)

Its not just soft its very brittle so no. I really don't use it for anything. If u watch some of my other videos I say why. I think the brown pendant with like swirls i explain why

I was wondering if resin mold release would work with polymer clay when it comes to projects like this. I know I’d probably crack the clay if these big hands tried to gently remove what you are removing, LOL

God I got it used 6 yrs ago and it was in my mother in laws basement cuz she had already bought a new one after using that one for years id say its prob over 10 years old when it goes ill just get a new one right now I just have to put the thermometer in it and lower the dial some it has 2 long horizontal filaments and one side is getting hotter now than the other the one going into the housing gets hotter than the tip of the filament not in the housing I would assume something is wrong w that heating coil or filament but not sure id have to look up the year and model and see if I could even find anything on a toaster oven that old

@@katiegordon610 I didnt mean to offend you I was just passing on some Knowledge that an appliance repair guy gave me this summer when I thought my big oven was going out. Of course you have every right to get yourself a new oven when you want. Even new ovens need to be calibrated when you first get them. I feel this is vital information for the clay community as you said in your video some people were having issues with their oven and this could help them out.
