I'm 43 and had to hang up my board a few years ago.. torn ACL, broken ankle 3 places and dislocated it on top of that.. but listening to Cardiel Stokes me out and makes me wanna sk8 again.. couldn't imagine skating with him. SICK!!!!

I'm 48 ... my board gets a lot more sleep than it used to due to me being fat and old and injured... not just skate injuries but life injuries. I dare you to grab your board and go bomb a mellow hill and try to wipe the smile off your face. All the best man ..... "getting old doesn't make you skate less - Skating less makes you grow old."

@@jayc1676 I’m 50 and bought myself a new set up. Torn my meniscus in both knees, I’m waiting for another operation on it. I hung up on a 50/50 and ate shit. I got out of the bowl with a grin and thought, how I missed this. I can skate for a day and give it a rest for a few weeks. Once a skater always a skater.

Just throw some pads on and go for it. I don’t care if ya did the same trick as the other guy without pads. Ya its gnarly no pads blah blah blah but ya can’t get score higher because of it. I’m an old guy that never wore pads in my life skating but also never thought I’d get more props for not wearing pads

😆 Are they really scoring based on pads vs padless? I heard tnt point it out but I just think it’s those guys operating on the gnar factor of it all - definitely no actual judgement among them. In the Cardiel epicly laterd it’s so funny to hear him heckle Burnquist for eventually wearing pads. Also Danny Way makes a point to mention Cardiel was never wearing pads in the pipe learning 540’s. I think it’s just all in fun 🔥.
