A repair of a 930 turbo transmission from 1982 where shift guides and synchronizing / blocker rings have been replaced by German Tech Motorworks Sdn. Bhd. in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Engine, interior, body works and wheels have been part of this restoration earlier.

Hi Georg, we could, but 915 we'd have to pass. Those parts are hard to come by.

So would it be reasonable to put one of these behind a 285kw LS1 in a GT40 replica (disregarding the LS1 in a 'Ford')?

I believe this is the g15 4 gears transmission. My 1985 930 has the almost same problem like this one. First gear sometimes just dont engage and i have the do the clutch and shifting again to get to first gear. Imagine in a traffic light just turn green and u cant move for few seconds! Third gear has to be slow or sometime it will jump back to neutral again. Reverse is always hard and grindy. How much cost to do a transmission job like this one？

In Malaysia, were parts are highly taxed a repair like tis can set you back MYR30-35k. May not apply to other countries..
