I uploaded this because my other post-stall videos were popular. As for the physics, they're obviously pretty close as far as what civilians are allowed to know. While the loadout of missiles are obviously fantasy, I find the game itself to be as reasonably close as I can expect from a console game. Certainly there are more realistic flight simulators, but Ace Combat's physics are still pretty impressive. As for using a statted-out F-14 from the Top Gun DLC to move like an F-22 Raptor, well that's the gag. From past behavior of video views, it looks like people like to see an F-14 do cool stuff. Even though they know it can't. It was designed in 1972. Catch up.

They aren't mistakes. They're to facilitate the arcade gameplay the series is known for and that people enjoy. Imagine it's like an anime about fighter jets but with realistic graphics, that's what the Ace Combat series is. I also like DCS and more realistic sims, but when I want to strap a laser beam onto an Su-37 and blast Erusians to the beat of catchy latin music, I play AC.

Most people who have played this game realize that it's a DLC F-14. The aircraft is unrealistic. The physics are pretty damn real. If either of you ever played Ace Combat, you'd know yourselves that the regular F-14 can't pull these stunts. I couldn't pull these stunts in a regular F-14. If they wanted to make the game "arcade" as you claimed, don't you think that they would make the regular F-14 unrealistic, too? Have you flown the DLC F-4 Phantom? They made that realistic! It flies like shit (and I'm actually glad for its realism, it presents a challenge -- you will not post-stall maneuver in the Ace Combat 7 F-4, because it's impossible to post-stall maneuver a real F-4)! Where's your "arcade" argument there? I'm using an unrealistic jet -- a DLC Top Gun F-14 that doesn't exist -- in the video on purpose. That's the joke. I even posted links to clips of F-22s doing the same maneuvers -- but in real life. Not DCS.

I mean, are you jealous? I can make a tutorial of post-stalling for you. It sounds like you're in disbelief that jets _can_ move like this, so should I take that as a compliment? I have kissed a girl lol, I have a girlfriend lol (really thought I was a loser huh!). The videos you referenced are of fifth gen fighters, the f14 is not nearly as capable. Post stalls are cool ngl. I understand it is for the arcade nature that the physics, are not the best. But for a kid growing up on it I thought it was amazing and when my hopes were dashed I felt.. not super great.
