Today is Day 10 of Postpartum Workout Challenge: POSTPARTUM LEGS AND GLUTES! I used 7 lbs dumbbells, but choose a weight that feels good for you or use filled up water bottles. I include modifications for diastasis recti or post c-section. I hope you feel amazing after this 20 minute postpartum workout!

Also bursting with gratitude after this workout! Here are 10 reasons why I workout w/Jessica at least once a day and recommend her channel to all my pregnant and postnatal friends: 1) I can be home with my kids! 2) don’t need to drive to or pay for gym 3) I can choose a workout that fits my time frame and what I’m needing that day 4) Jessica doesn’t talk much, but her guidance and words are incredibly helpful 5) she offers modifications for all stages/levels 6) she knows female anatomy and what a pregnant/postpartum body needs 7) the music is great! 8) she’s always spicing it up and keeping the workouts fresh 9) I don’t have to research different kinds of workouts because Jessica knows so many kinds and teaches such a variety of classes 10) it’s effective! 6 months pp and not consistent. But these videos make me feel good when I do them! Had an emergency c section with twins. Our boy is in heaven and our girl is healthy after 54 days in the nicu. 💕

thank you for providing your expertise to the world for free!! I don't discount what a blessing it is to get on KZfaq and find high quality workouts. Getting back into a routine as my body is almost crying for it almost 4 months postpartum and your workouts are my go-to. They are challenging without hurting but also time-friendly, have a wide variety, and I know always provide accommodations for my still healing body. I so appreciate you!

Hi, thank you so much for your workouts, they are amazing! I just have a question about the weights. I have been doing this challenge and I still have some diastasis recti, and in previous workouts I did use weight on leg exercises, but in this specific one you said if we have diastasis recti that we shouldn't. Is this for just this workout or is it by default that we shouldn't use weights when doing squats exercises? Also, how about lunges? Youre awesome, thank you again for being so helpful to us!

Thank you so much for this video! I love your workouts, I'm In my postpartum period, trying to heal my diastasis recti and get back in shape, when I found out I'm expecting again! Which of your postpartum workouts do you consider safe for first trimester?

The Postpartum and Diastasis Recti playlist will be safe until you start showing then I would switch to the prenatal ones (which have more restrictions). Not very many of my postpartum do I go on my stomach, but modify obviously if needed!

Hello I'm newly postpartum and I'm waiting to be cleared for exercise. Do you have a specific workout I should start with once I am able to workout again? Or could you make a workout calendar of postpartum workouts I should do to safely get back into exercising? Did your workouts all throughout pregnancy and LOVED them

I’m 12 weeks postpartum and this has been an AWESOME program to really get back into exercising (I also did Jessica’s workouts during pregnancy). I started with some of the diastasis recti exercises for core healing for the first month or so and then have been doing this and taking the less challenging modifications when needed. I’m sure she can give you more specifics but this is a really really good but challenging program when you feel ready to get back into daily exercise!

You will want to wait until you get clearance for postpartum exercises (usually 4-6 weeks after an uncomplicated vaginal delivery or 6-8 weeks after a c-section) 💞
