My only real complaint with this toy is that there are no transformation sounds!

Really awesome seeing this. Really wish there was a straight use of "Dino Thunder, Power Up!" in this. Still, loved seeing this.

lol the Kyoryuger Brave boxes under the glass Perfect timing, considering the Kyoryuger news 21:55 you aren’t blind. None of the Lightning Collection morphers have an on/off switch. As soon as you put batteries in, it’s on.

There are 3 extra lines when you cycle through all six lines with the original 3 coins then close the morpher which is how you got that last one at the end of the review. There's also 2 secret lines when you hold the morpher closed and hold the button down. Don't press the button twice just keep holding it.

Just wish it has the phrases “once a ranger, always a ranger”, “i maybe old but I can still pull it off”, & “no matter what color I am I’ll never be defeated”

Among the installed sounds, the line where Tommy introduced the Master Morpher wasn't in. It would have been awesome.

Think maybe the reason why the Tigerzord isn't mentioned is because the Tigerzord was destroyed in MMPR? So by the time of Ninja Steel Tommy would no longer have access to it.

As much as I've soured on the character of Tommy over the last decade, there was no way I was going to miss this. I haven't bothered with Hasbro's other Power Morphers (the voiceover soundbytes in the original version sound terrible, and the movie-inspired versions just don't do anything for me), and I figured that if I was going to own any of them, it'd be this one. My particular copy came with its share of scratches and a couple of pock marks in the chrome (that's plastic free packaging for you), but I did get all six coins and I'm going to treat this as a display piece, so I can overlook the blemishes. definitely really excited about this release. there’s a part of me that wishes hasbro splashed out a bit and made the plates die cast instead of just chromed plastic, but it’s a really minor nitpick, especially when there’s aftermarket ones available. i missed my chance to get in in the first run, but i was able to get in my preorder for the november release. can’t wait to get it in, especially since i’ve somehow never owned a power morpher. i had also just recently preordered the rerelease of the dragon dagger and white ranger helmet, so it’ll all come together as a fitting tribute to JDF and tommy. as an aside, it does bother me a bit that the base is so plain. it wouldn’t have cost hasbro very much to give it a few paint apps to make it look more like actual rock. i guess i’ll just have to break out the model paints and spruce it up a bit

Great video. I've always been more partial to Sentai devices myself (they feel more advanced and have more character). The lack of sound effects on transformation (just the hum and a voice line) made this particular morpher feel somewhat empty to me. Speaking of Japanese transforming devices, now that Geats is over what are your thoughts on LaserBoost and Geats IX as toys and/or aesthetics? Sticking an entire gun over the majority of the Desire Driver feels almost as over the top as Good Striker was a few years back. I really enjoy how both radically transformed the belt (same with Bujin Sword) and hope that we might see something similar from that mysterious slot on the top of the GatcharDriver.

there is probably some customizer that had repainted/redesigned those coins to have the colour assigned to each coins, kind of invoking things like the dino gems infused with the coin.

Technically the season 3 Power Rangers did NOT have unique suits. Unless you're talking about the literal ninja costumes. The unique suits that were SUPPOSE to be the season 3 designs were actually used for the Alien Rangers. They did have unique power coins though. I can't remember if those power coins were ever actually in the show or if it was only in the movie which isn't even canon with the TV series. That movie also did give them unique costumes which were never used again and apparently none of those costumes still exist in one piece. There are parts of the suits from the first movie that still exist but they were not kept in good condition and the material they were made from wasn't that great so yeah they were made to look good on film not to actually be practical and long lasting. I think the reasoning behind why Turbo wasn't used in the show and why Jason doesn't feel like they really belong to Tommy Oliver is because technically Tommy passed the Turbo powers to T.J. when he left the show so he shouldn't have them. But if we're really being honest he shouldn't have ANY of his ranger powers anymore. He lost his Green Powers in that whole melting candle story when Rita took away the powers she gave him so he shouldn't have the Green Ranger abilities anymore. The White Ranger powers were lost when the original command center was destroyed which was the whole reason why they needed to get the Zeo crystals in the first place. Beyond that all of the Power Rangers lost their connection to the Morphin Grid when Zordon died at the end of Power Rangers in Space so literally anything that happens after that point shouldn't even be possible. Power Rangers in Space ended with every villain either being vaporized or turning human while all of the Power Rangers were depowered... except for a couple which never really depowered like the Phantom Ranger who we never learn the identity of, and a couple others who they couldn't get the actors for so they were just never showed out of costume. But the idea was still there even it didn't happen on screen. So there shouldn't be any reason or way for any Power Rangers to exist beyond that point. The whole Master Morpher thing is a cool idea but there's never really any explanation given for how he got it or how he still has all those powers when none of it should exist. So if he really shouldn't have any of those powers, might as well throw Turbo in too. Have both Tommy and T.J. morph into Turbo Red at the same time, who cares at this point. Even the show seems to have forgotten who's suppose to have what powers as there's literally an episode where all the past Power Rangers teams appear together at the same time which should also be impossible. Zeo, Turbo, and In Space can't all co-exist with each other because there's really only 2 teams between those 3 series. If they go with the original Turbo Rangers they can't exist at the same time with Zeo because they're the same characters. If they go with the secondary Turbo Ranger then they can't exist at the same time with In Space because they're the same characters. Though there was an episode where there was also a team of robot Turbo Rangers but they were never really ever used again outside of that one episode. And none of that explains how Dino Thunder Black, Zeo Red, the original white ranger, and the original Green Ranger could all exist at the same time when they're all the same person. The real explanation for why all those Rangers existed at the same time is because they were reusing footage from Japan where they're all actually different characters under the costumes but it doesn't make any sense for the American series where it's more common for the same cast from the previous series to roll over into the next one rather than introducing a whole new cast every single time. Tommy only ever really appears as the Green Ranger in that episode, his other forms are just suit actors that appear in the background. And I think it was the only time Jason David Frank ever got to wear a proper Dragon Shield as they gave him an upgraded suit just for that special rather than the suit he originally wore that never matched the stock footage from Japan because of the Dragon Shield. It's also funny when the season 2 suit designs or suits from Pre-Mighty Morphin eras of Super Sentai show up in stock footage considering they were never even adapted in the U.S. There is even an Americanized name for a Super Sentai team that was technically never adapted for Power Rangers in America because it predate Mighty Morphin, but they still used one of the costumes in Megaforce and had one of the Rangers call out the name of a team that doesn't exist. And the Sixth Ranger with all of the powers of past Sixth Rangers doesn't really translate well in America because there are missing 6th Rangers who were never considered Rangers in the Super Sentai. In short... Power Rangers canon is a disaster. Most of it is ignored for the sake of nostalgia and/or whatever looks cool.

Kinda nice to know my copy isn't the only one that flashes the black ranger lights, right before the voice line plays on the Green Ranger coin. Also, there was one or two lines from the Dino Thunder coin I dont think I heard on mine. I will have to check mine again to see if I'm just mistaken.

My only complaint is I cant get one as sold out on hasbro plus uk 😢

I just got the master morpher today and it sounds a bit muffled. Is it because of the batteries or is it just like that? Anyone who owns one can you tell me your experience with it and what are your thoughts on this master morpher? Thanks to all who responded.

I hate that we dont get DT Power Up and so many unnecessary phase like 1993 its morphin sometimes the original is the best is just shouting MMPR Superiority.
