In this video we work out how to remove the rear interior boot / trunk side panel trims on our Land Rover Defender 110. This could be useful if you want to add some extra wiring or want to fit the Land Rover compressor etc.

Mine is also a 5 seater (D240S); i had the rear foam tray out early on as i wanted to mount an aux battery in there...you CAN get the foam tray out without removing all the trim as Simon says at the end of the video. I guess you could remove one of those plugs and use it as a grommet for wiring to get an anderson plug out the back for trailers, solar panels, towing etc. Great video for a tedious procedure. Much appreciated yet again! Thanks Simon and Tyler.

Love this idea. My hard top 90 is ready in a few weeks and I’m going to need to look at building some kind of shelves in the back, possibly going to build a shelf across widthways at the back against the bulkhead. Also looking forward to your bumper protector coming out that’s a great idea adding the front protection on it, I will order one of these the second you launch it! That’s very interesting. You’d think JLR would offer an auxiliary / leisure battery option, either a built-in LiFePO4 battery or a cradle where a battery of your choice could be dropped into a space and charged via a built-in DC/DC charger or 12v charge socket, to ease the addition of a fridge / lights etc.

Hello Simon, I’ve had my new Defender 90 for a month now and was wondering if PowerfulUk would consider making a fitted rigid boot storage for the new 90, similar to the one for the Discovery (VPLRS0355 part no) the same height as the silver step in the boot with a non-slip Iid and fitted to the boot profile, creating a solid one-level shelf. It would make the 90 a whole lot more practical with the rear seats down for all of their owners!Love my 90 and love the channel!

@@L663 Just found your video of taking them both off. Even simpler than I expected - plain 3m tapes. Im guessing the two smaller holes are where the water is flowing into. How did you put your panels back on? 3m tapes again? Silicone? Thank you!
