Well explained doctor. Thank you for making this videos. I'm a fitness trainer. This is appreciable. Because as a trainer I need to explain all these to clients who coming to gym. But most of them don't agree. One of the main reason is most doctors don't tell the truth about proteins and supplements. They misguided people. Thanks for your effort 👍

Hey doc , great content buddy . A few more points to keep in check , yes protein is the only macronutrient which is largely thermic in nature and has the potential to burn extra calories . But it totally depends on the total amount . Studies have shown protein ingestion of more than 1.5g per pound of bodyweight shows significant effect on increasing total calorie consumption by not gaining much fat in the process . Just a basic consumption of whey wont faster the results , no matter what form it is from . Studies have show whey protein HELPS in building muscle and almost every meta analysis done had individuals on a positive nitrogen balance and not just the supplement form . Kudos to your channel , and hope more educated doctors are there in the fitness field as well 💯❤️

Hi, At 07:45 you mentioned about 1.4g of protein. Do you mean overall 1.4g perday? And during the study they consumed 37.4g (36+1.4). correct?

Their is no separate protein for weight loss or weight gain... Protein powders come in 3 forms, namely whey concentrate, whey isolate and whey hydrolysate... The second and third ones are very costly and have almost 0 carbohydrates in them... But concentrate is well and good considering the price... It contains very little amount of carbohydrates which is ok for the price... Also the amount of protein you should have per day is given below (this should come from whole food sources+whey protein) For Leigh man - 0.8 to 1g per kg of B.W. For someone who trains - 1.6 to 2.5g per kg of B.W.

നല്ല ബ്രാൻഡ് ഏതാ... വില എത്ര ആണ്... ഞാൻ വീട്ടിൽ ചെറുതായിട്ട് workouts ചെയ്യുന്നുണ്ടു...12kg ഒരു set dumbbell ഉണ്ട്... അത് വെച്ച് biceps curl, hammer curl... ചെയ്യാറുണ്ട്.. പിന്നേ pushups ചെയ്യാറുണ്ട്... ഇതൊക്കെ ചെയ്തിട്ടും biceps സൈസ് വെക്കുന്നില്ല...

അധികമായാൽ അമൃതും വിഷം.oxygen body ൽ കൂടിയാൽ പോലും ശരീരത്തിന് പ്രശ്നം ആണ് അതുപോലെ തന്നെ ആണ് വെള്ളവും. എല്ലാരും പറയും കൊറേ കുടിക്കണം കൊറേ കുടിക്കണം ന്ന് but ആ കൊറേ ക്കും ഒരു ലിമിറ്റ് ഉണ്ട്

There is a calculation for the amount of water intake per day for a human being... If for example my weight is 90 kg... 90 = 9x10 Soo multiply that 9 into 0.325 That comes to 2.925 L of water everyday You have to multiply 0.325 with the multiple of 10 (of 55kg, then 55 = 5.5 x 10... Therefore 5.5 x 0.325 = 1.78L)

Weight gain ചെയ്യാൻ ആണെങ്കിൽ ഒരു ദിവസം കഴിക്കുന്ന total calorie calculate ചെയ്യ്തു extra ഒരു 250 calorie കൂടി add ചെയ്യാ. അതായത് daily ഒരു 2000 calorie കഴിക്കുന്നുണ്ട് എങ്കിൽ extra ഒരു 250 calorie add ചെയ്യ്തു 2250 calorie food കഴിച്ചാൽ മതി.

I thought you are going to talk nonsense about protein powder - oh get protein ONLY from natural food etc. Glad you cleared doubt people have :) Same people who fear protein powder will give things such as horlicks to kids without second thought. I told my father to use protein powder as part of diet and he said "I am not bodybuilding so it does not work...." What I found is marketing is important - if same protein powder is marked as muscle building people are reluctant but if label says "for fitness and health" people will buy it. I say this from experience with my parents who are very well educated

you can take protein powder but not daily. make sure that you drink more water and do repeat your creatinine after 3 months
