Prabhupada's chickpeas in Golden Kahri Sauce, is a classic North-Indian recipe, taught by him to HG Yamuna Devi in 1966. Chickpeas in Golden Kahri Sauce, is a wonderful recipe made up of chickpeas in a thick golden sauce of chickpeas flour with Indian spices.

Servings: 4
Ingredients:
3 cups of boiled chickpeas
5 tbsp chickpeas flour
2 1/2 cup of water
2 cups of yoghurt/ Curd or thick buttermilk
1 tsp salt
3/4th tsp turmeric powder
2 tsp coriander powder
10 fresh curry leaves
2 tbsp chopper coriander leaves
For dry roast-
2 bay leaves
2 cardomom pods
2 small cinnamon sticks
For seasoning-
2 tbsp ghee
2 tsp cumin seed
2 dried red chilli
