Haha thanks. Just wanted to get these out there before I upload my top 10 of 2020 in the next day or two.

@@ChairmanoftheBoard Very nice! Quick question, at what player count are you testing those? Im asking because I play almost exclusively 2-player
@ChairmanoftheBoard3 жыл бұрын
I mostly play at 2 player too, so I can verify the games works perfectly.

Good job! Been looking forward to this review and good to know you mostly playing at 2 players. Would like to see a timestamp or 2 to know which part of the vid is the game overview, and where your final thoughts start in case I already had a very good idea how it plays.

I'll be adding the timestamps later :)

I’ve played this now a few times, and I don’t really think it’s a combo heavy as say Trismegistus. You get a lot of small cascading effects in Praga, but the comboing of the artifacts in Trismegistus is way better.

Didn’t you find the board colors overwhelming? It’s quite a visual mess. The 3D buildings seem completely unnecessary and superfluous. My other major concern is the size of this board. It’s 90 cm. I can’t even fit this on my regular table, which has managed to fit every other game. I was considering this game but these three things are putting me on the side of ‘pass’’.

I'm colourblind so it wouldn't look quite the same to me. Otherwise, I love the look of the board. The 3D buildings are superfluous, but they are also printed on the board so the option is yours.

Was interested to hear your thoughts on the amount of player interaction featured in this game. I heard it's pretty multiplayer solitaire. Is that your experience as well Chairman?
@ChairmanoftheBoard3 жыл бұрын
It is multiplayer solitaire for the most part. There's some competition involved with the area control for the building bonuses, and of course the available walls, upgrades etc are first come first served. The cost of the actions you want to take from the crane is also based on what other players have chosen.

You mentioned no game equals Praga in Combos. Not even Trismegistus?
@ChairmanoftheBoard2 жыл бұрын
I think Praga slightly has the edge for combos.

@@ChairmanoftheBoard I need to try it then. I've never played a game with bigger combo potential as Trismegistus and that is what I like the most of it. Does it even has the potential for huge combos like in Tris?
@ChairmanoftheBoard2 жыл бұрын
It has more if a domino effect style of combo, minor things that string together to make big feeling turns. I think the decisions in Trismegistis feel bigger in general because you have so few turns so getting those combos is more important.
@J-Wheeler-G2 жыл бұрын
@@ChairmanoftheBoard Makes sense. You sold me on it. Because the Domino effect in Tris is what makes the game grate for me even though you get them 3-5 times (in a good game) but they are so huge that it is really satisfying.
