Trying to compare a Precision +5000cc injector to a Bosch 2200cc? Not a good comparison.

those are drag racing injectors. they're basically fire hoses stuck inside cylinders. of course the spray pattern is shite!

I think that most of the people using this large of an injector will be running MUCH higher fuel pressures. Around 120psig base. Please retry the test at that pressure.

not exactly a fair comparison. the bosch injector is half the flow rate. would be a more believable test if you tested the precision 2250cc

you're comparing a pro race injector application to a OEM street injector application? that's like comparing an apple to an orange. what a great way to mislead people who wants to learn more about CCs

First take was like a drink refill

From Precision Turbo's web site, on their injector page: "All horsepower ratings are based upon a 90% duty cycle at 43.5 psi of fuel pressure based upon a BSFC of .50." Not to say they intend them to be run at that pressure, though 43.5 is a standard measuring pressure, so it might be worth mentioning that they are intended for only very high-pressure operation in the description, if that is the case. I would be very interested to see the spray pattern at 120 PSIg, because at 43.5 PSI, it looks like water coming out of a hose; There is no spray pattern. If somebody has some (Eric's Performance Parts?), it would be cool to see a video. Isn't spray pattern relevant in any intended fuel injector application?... Race car, street car, or otherwise? How do you guys know that is a 5000 CC injector? The only thing I see aside from the patent number is 550 engraved on the injector, and PT does have a 550 CC model listed on their web site, rated at 99 HP per injector; The only one I see higher than the Bosch one is their 5000 CC model, which is rated for use with alcohol at 85 PSI (70.3 PSIg), and the only model rated at high pressure. Aus Injection might share the actual flow rate... pretty curious what it is, or if it is already shown somewhere. I'm impressed by the spray pattern coming out of that 2200 CC. That's a lot of fuel to move.

I guess it's a miracle then that my engine hasn't blown up yet from the Precision injectors. I do believe they don't make their own injectors they were rebrands. I got mine in 2011 still running good but you guys did give me a good scare.
