I'm glad you're doing okay Lauren. I unfortunately can't tell you a pregnancy story 🤣 I was diagnosed when my ex wife and I had our daughter and without getting crazy into it I'm sure you'll be an amazing mother Lauren if you decide to get pregnant. Don't let MS stop you from having a child. The only reason I'm still here is because I could not leave here on purpose knowing it would destroy my daughter. So she gave me reasons to live that I really needed to keep strong and keep going. Good luck on whatever you decide but I'm positive you'd be a good mother Lauren.

I was diagnosed while trying to conceive, less than a month before I conceived my first. My neurologist was optimistic and told me that pregnancy was protective for MS. I had two children three years apart, breast fed both for a year, and only got on medication after my second child weaned, so that was at least 4 years after diagnosis. I was lucky not to have any relapses after birth, but have been pretty lucky in general with my MS. (And the oral medication I take now is working for me.)

Hi Lauren. Your videos were among some of the first I saw when I was newly diagnosed. I too live in Michigan, Ann Arbor to be specific. I have 2 daughters and 1 was after diagnosis. I would be more than happy to FaceTime or just talk more about my journey. And I’d love to learn from you with yours. 💜

You always struck me as someone who would be a wonderful mother, i just get the feeling that you're a natural momma at heart. I don't have ms but I've followed you for years, and as a non disabled person let me tell you becoming a parent is the most amazing thing in the world and also one of the hardest! I get the feeling that it's hard regardless of what other struggles you face, and if you have a support system around you that is ready to help you out then I don't think you should let Ms keep you from having a little one ♥ for me it was hard because I don't have a "village" to help me out, and I had my baby right as covid started, but thankfully it's easier now and I am so happy I got my miracle in the end 🤗

Hi Lauren, I had 2 pregnancies. I don't think I felt and differently than a woman who didn't have MS. I experienced the typical symptoms. After I had the babies I did experience fatigue that would come and go but I was always able to take good care of them. Sending you tons of good vibes & a hug.

You would be a wonderful mother, I have two daughters and I am now a grandmother to two boys and and my youngest daughter is expecting her first in March. I felt amazing while pregnant and had no problems after , I have had ms for a long time but was diagnosed 14 years ago. I think possitve thinking really helps . Go for it and don't let ms stop you. yes it may be passed on but meditation has come far and any healthy person could have children and then become ill with something . Wishing you all the luck and happiness in the world lovely 🥰xxx

Hi Lauren I'm glad you are doing good. I think you would be a wonderful mother. I have a daughter I got pregnant before I found out I had MS. She's 22 years old now. I did have a lot of health problems after I gave birth. But it was well worth it being a mother. That's truly your own decision to make. I want to say motherhood is an amazing thing. Everyone is different and with Ms you know no two people are alike. Similar symptoms but not the same. Good luck to you and your journey in choosing motherhood or not. I'm sure you will make the best decision for yourself. Motherhood is rewarding! ️ ☺️

I was diagnosed in 2012, but probably have had MS since the '90s. I never had children, but through so much research and personal experiences of others, I would be very hesitant to have children. Only because there is a genetic risk of passing it down. I know so many people that their mother had MS, and their sisters have MS. Not only that, but I feel any autoimmune disease in the family could pose a risk to having children. My grandmother who is 92 developed alopecia when she was in her twenties and has no hair, my mom has lupus, and I have MS. As much as children are a blessing, I think it's a personal decision if that risk wants to be taken. I have a very troubling MS diagnosis. I quickly turned into PPMS and I have not been able to walk for about 7 years now. I'm only 42 years old. I would never want to put my child through this.

I've had four children Lauren all of which were born while my M.S. was present but undiagnosed. These experiences vary wildly among healthy women and I'm sure even more so for those who have M.S. so I have just one small word of advice for you... Choose a man who is kind with kind and gentle parents because they will be the blueprint for your future children. Don't fall for the high energy Batchelor who like hiking and adventure because that's where he will be when the children are home with you 🤨, the quality of your relationship is pivotal to your outcome as a mother. Hope that was helpful, much love ! Tracy

Hey Tracy! Wow, 4 children! I understand that the experience varies wildly with people. The person who I am dating now is incredibly kind and has gentle parents - so if we get married I'll be ok. That's a great piece of advice! Thank you! I'm sending you much love! 😊❤❤
