Dude! I am stoked to try the Drow DH Ranged Trapper build. I am a first life DH DW on my main so I will have to adjust a bit, but excited to try many new things like multiclassing and ranged combat. Appreciate the comprehensive breakdown. We'll see if I make it to endgame.

2 make it more fun, you should have Artificer level 6+ and cast Positive Energy Infusion. A friend was mocking me for liking low HP drow, so I showed up in his group as an alt with 7 HP and level 7. :)

If you want a great artificer build, I did a review of someone's artificer build on my stream. The build is under the "Build review" section of my discord. It's a really strong repeating crossbow arti with a twist.

I've been working on a Tabaxi Trailblazer Quarterstaff build; 18 FvS 2 Monk with 21 AP into Trailblazer (qstaff cleave attack), 37 AP into Warsoul (5th core for Haste), 11 AP into Beacon of Hope (3rd core), 8 AP into Henshin for Quick Strike and 11 AP into Feydark for GCS. I could drop the Feydark but mmmm!? Warsoul bags me +15 doublestrike and Quick Strike another +25 for 10 seconds with 12 sec CD before gear and EDs.

Hey strimtom can you please tell me about the thumbnail you used for this video? the swords that character is using are dual wielding 2 large swords? is this a new dual wield stance or build?

That's just the weapon Divinity from Ravenloft, which is a one handed weapon. ddowiki.com/page/Item:Divinity,_the_Morninglord%27s_Goal The character is just emoting, this isn't a special stance.

Hype! Question about the EK PM trapper: will the trapping DCs be okay early on (R1, in mind) without the rogue enhancement points? Should I forego the imbue dice if necessary?

As long as you keep a trapping item (like the korthos set, or the gloves of the snake, or keylock ring, or random loot) you will be fine.

so you recommend conjure bolts early levels on intq. i was doing a test run and noticed i don't have the spellpoints to cast it. I assume i will get them at 4 with fvs but noticed cant use and just started into harper for now

I'm thinking doing the PM EK, but going shield combat feats instead of SWF so that I can soak up more damage (looking at you, "Misadventure"). Does chain attack also benefit from the doublestrike?

AFAIK, YES chain attacks DO benefit from doublestrike.

Real Question from an avid player whose never played Hardcore League: If you have earned the prerequisite hardcore favor for redemption/purchase, can you acquire/buy the cosmetics and such on characters you DIDN'T play on Hardcore with? I've got one main toon, and I really only intend to play with him because that's I have time to invest in, and so can HE buy whatever I earn/unlock on my newly created Hardcore toon? I will never bother with Hardcore if I can't apply the benefits to my non-hardcore toon, and upon cursory searches, I can't find any information about this.

Yes! If you play on Hard core, once you unlock something, like the 3000 favor mount, you can then take aby other character on any server and talk to the hard-core vendor in the hall of heroes and unlock that same item. Just remember you have to unlock it! If you earn 3000 favor and then die before talking to the NPC in the hall of heroes it won't count, so make sure once you hit a milestone you tag it in right away!

Could the shifter barb be ran as a dwarf? I know id be missing out on magic fang but it would save a feat. Wondering if it'd still be viable ran as a dwarf

Yeah, you just give up strength. And magic fang, which will end up with about 10 less hit/damage in the late game

@@luck_of_the_draw536 Dwarf doesn't give nearly as much damage. Yes you get a small amount of damage with dwarven war axes, but remember you only use those much later, so you have to wait a while on that damage. And even then, it's +3 to hit/+4 to damage compared to +10/+10. You will get more hit points, but 2700 to 2850 isn't really as impactful once you're already above 2k. I'm not saying you can't, just saying that there are trade offs.

not interested with hardcore stuff at all and here to make a comment since it's your latest video: you should do item videos. "for example" the player hit lv 20 for the first time and a sorcerer? what's the "easiest" items for him to get? "for example" was in quotation marks because the same question can be asked for "each" level. looking at a skill tree, people can figure out what they want on their own since it's all right in front of them. choosing 14 items for each slot though requires a lot of ddowiking, which item has impulse, which ones has dc to evocation etc. then there are many players who doesn't have dread isle or many other adventure packs. so that makes things even more complicated. so yeah a video about that would be great.
