How long can we keep a volatile standard after opening it? Like a 37 fame mix.

Once a standard is opened, it can be very difficult to estimate the lifetime of the standard. It is dependent on the storage container and conditions and even how often the standard is opened. Your best bet may be to test the standard periodically to confirm the concentration is still acceptable.

Dear concerned. I'm working on edible oil and fats industry. We have GC. We want to standard for cooking oil testing. Standard should covers C4 to C24 fatty acid profile. Pls help me in this regards.
