Make sure your charger cord is long! In my hospital the outlets are so inconveniently placed so be prepared!

I just got my tummy tuck 4 weeks ago! I am so exited for you Lindy! The surgery is very invasive, but seriously it’s the best decision I’ve ever made! I just started using the embrace silicone patch 2 weeks ago and it made my skin super itchy and uncomfortable. It also came off really fast for something so expensive, even after I washed the area with soap and wiped with alcohol it still came off. The sheets aren’t flexible so when you sit it crease and may cause your skin to blister too. My doctor also said his patients were experiencing the same problem. The other silicone scar sheets you have in the white and blue box is actually better. I bought some even better ones on Amazon called HANASCAR scilicone sheets. Give it a try if the embrace doesn’t work out. I wish I could return it but it has already past the return period. Can’t wait to see your next video! Good luck!!

I had an organ taken out from me a week ago, and I will definitely say - GO HOME IN YOUR JAMMIES :D Rest as much as you can, remember to take your poop softeners so you don't have to move your abs too much when pooping, and DON'T wear shoes with shoelaces, just some slip ons :) Love xx

Leave the hospital in your jammies! They actually recommend that! Loose clothing is recommended so as not to put pressure on the incision site! Good luck Lindy!

Maybe things are different in Ireland, but abdominoplasty in America is usually an outpatient procedure (meaning you come in & go home the same day). I hope everything is ok! Also, get a pillow to hug when you have to cough or sneeze to brace your abdomen. I was told that after I had my c-section & it HELPS!!!

Hey bubz! Elective surgeries can be so scary but so life changing at the same time. I got lasik last year and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. Wishing you an easy procedure and a quick recovery!❤️❤️

Trust me when I say, coming from someone who has both worked at and stayed in hospitals (plus 10 surgeries under my belt) wearing your jammies home is not only just fine, but encouraged! Staying comfy applies the whole time the first several weeks! :)

bubz you deserve the world! there have been so many positive comments on encouraging you to do what you want, so I’ll give post positivity for later! Even though this is “elective” you are going through major procedure!! Be kind to yourself or all this is for not. You must take it easy and remember that it will heal with time. Be positive yourself! You are the source of your own happiness!!

I work in surgical recovery and more often than not, patients are more comfortable coming and going home in PJs. After surgery you are not going to want to mess with too much, so the easier the outfit and shoes the better. Some women don't even wear bras.

This Christmas I am getting a boob job (I have a 32A) and I have always been a bit self-cautious about my body, because everyone else seems to have big brasts and I feel like I still look 12 whenever I wear things. I think of the tuck, or any similar procedure, like pruning. Pruning hardly takes away from the essence of a fruit tree - it's still a tree no matter what you do to it. But superficially, it feels like a bad thing cut off a tree's parts, that it grew to sustain itself and its fruit. Yet in the following season, it ends up bearing more fruit instead of funneling its growth energy towards the excess branches and leaves. Plus it looks cleaned up too. Excited to see what happens next, and am happy for your strength in making this decision. Wishing you the best of luck with your procedure and recovery!

Just subscribed. Today is August 17, you should be out of surgery and in recovery for 2 days now... praying for a speedy recovery for you. good for you! i remember when i had mine done 10 years ago. I had a lot of excess skin after my weight loss and when i had my tummy tuck the doctor recommended that i put a marble- sanitized and sterilized- in my new belly button so it would not collapse/shrink. I am curious if your doctor has recommended or mentioned your new belly button. Stay safe and congrats!

Good for you! If it makes you feel beautiful and better about yourself, go for it. No know has the right to judge. I had twins and I also have extra skin from the pregnancy, so I get it. I’m glad that you’ll be documenting it coz I thought of going through w/ the procedure too.

Make sure you use a heating pad as well. It will help your back if you experience any back pain! It helped me a lot when I got my boobs done. I also used a neck pillow when I had to sleep upright. It will be so worth it, try not to be too nervous!

I’m recovering from abdominal surgery right now. Take things slowly. Try not to get stressed that you can’t do anything. Just rest and self care. I haven’t been able to wear shorts in over a week. Dresses maybe? Jammies are good. Who cares what people think! Hope it all goes well.
