Great solid review.I really like mine. If the wider version proves to stay flat ( I’m concerned the pad may form a v width wise when side sleeping) I think it would be perfect!

It does do the V, in the brief clips you see him, not his son lie in it, it is apparent. Got one and super disappointed. A hammock that requires a mattress, why sell it apart??

I love my regular haven. I’ll probably get the xl someday. Sorry you were disappointed. Of course it’s going to v at least a little. Even your bed at home sinks in and forms a depression where your body is.

I’d take the weight penalty for sure. As for a bug out get home bag it’s perfection in my opinion

What I am concerned about and would like to know is if it would sag to much to sleep on your side and make your hip hurt or lower back if you try to sleep on your stomach???

Is there headroom, for sitting up in it? Only when suspended, but not on the ground? I'm thinking, if you're spending day time, staying out of a storm. Also, with the guy lines provided, how far a span can it go? Is there cord, for the tie outs too.
