Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"

Liam Timmerman I'm a hardcore Bernie fan, but I've accepted the worst possible scenario has already happened: Hillary VS Trump. Submit to your reptilian corporate overlords. What annoys me about Bernie supporters is some of them won't vote in that situation, and don't fucking realize that that means they're giving it to Trump basically. Hillary isn't the best choice for president, but at least she has policies that most liberals would agree with when Trump has none. At least when Trump becomes president, we'll have a literal meme as president.

Yale Benson No, the primaries still happen, and Trump still needs to get 1237 delegates - even if it's piss easy at this point. Other candidates just suspended their campaigns, not ended them. If Trump somehow didn't get the 1237 delegates, brokered convention would happen.

Most people who where going to vote for Cruz or.. ..Kasich.. ..the are just not going to vote. Trump still needs to get the magic number of delegates, but with the competence out it's really far fetched to think he won't get them.

I know about To Anacreon in Heaven being a song for a club. Plus the Star Spangeled Banner wasn't the official anthem until 1931. So you had a few, but mostly it was that or Hail Columbia. Not to mention parts of Hail Columbia are the Itsy Bitsy Spider. My point is God Save the King (Queen) is older by a couple hundred years. It's still a knock off to a point to put it bluntly. I should've said it was taken from the melody, more than a knock off. It's really more of a homage with it's usage even though. My wording may have not been the most friendly, but calling it a knock off isn't fully inaccurate either.

Despite his disgusting eating habits, John Kasich was the Republican I supported the most in the 2016 election (and I'm from Texas). I couldn't stand Trump (and still don't), I didn't trust Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio was ok but I never felt 100% confident he would win, and I felt more sorry for Jeb than supported him. That said, John Kasich was a more moderate Republican, well experienced in politics, from a crucial swing state, not known for controversial statements/laws, and seemed overall likable as a candidate. If Trump hadn't run for President, I honestly think it would have come down to Cruz and Kasich (which it kind of did anyway), and I think Kasich would have been a good leader for the working/middle class Americans who had felt they were not doing so well under Barrack Obama.
