I, like millions of others just like me, am a 65 year old working class FORMER life long Labour voter. The Labour Party USED to be all about working classes, blue collar workers, unions etc. BLAIR ended that for me….. I don’t even recognise today’s Labour Party. I don’t even recognise my own country anymore - TEN MILLION IMMIGRANTS SINCE BLAIR ! When was the last reservoir built to cope with 10 million extra people ? Houses ? Hospitals ? Care homes ? Prisons ? Blue collar working class British people are way WAY down the Labour Party list of importance… We come way behind all the woke, trans, illegal migration, gender, snowflake, pride, LGBT alphabet soup, taking the knee, unable to define a woman nonsense …. No. Overstepping the mark is politicians in power (who make the laws by the way) committing fraud via insider information, a criminal offence I would expect to get a criminal record and a stay in prison if I did the same thing. What is a woman?

I wish we could dispense with the silly pearl-clutching whenever someone changes their position on something. Changing one's position is a sign of growth and development (and yes, sometimes going the wrong way). But to treat any instance of having a different position on something at a different time like it's some kind of sin is incredibly silly. Should we be harpooned for no longer believing in Santa Claus, or for switching something from paper to electronic format? We're so happy for growth, change, improvements, and new ideas, except for when it's the policy position of someone in office, and then suddenly it's treated as bad ipso facto. Wait to see whether it's good, or whether's being done cynically, and if it is, then all out the cynicism. But don't decry the simple act of thinking A at one time and then B at a different time.

The Trans "issue" is a total red herring from conservatives NOT to talk about wealth inequality and access to quality healthcare. Period. As a part of the 99%, think hard about which of these issues has the greatest impact (if any at ALL) on your life. Other people's gender identity doesn't make you poor.
