I was a backpack leash hater until I had my son. He’s wild and a run by nature. So going on a walk with him when he was 2 and pushing my baby in a stroller alone it was a must for a little bit. Safety first. I will say I was very embarrassed to do so but at least I didn’t loose him. 😅

As a mom of 3 I don’t do the leashes but I have thought of getting them the AirTags and drop it in their shoe while they’re at school or on a field trip!

My kids had the backpack leash thing and honestly it gives them a sense of freedom because they don’t have to hold hands or be held if they like to run. They learn the limits of range they can go. My girls LOVED it because they could walk with older siblings and not have to constantly hold hands.

Yes my friend did different groups for different parties for her wedding too! Her bridal shower was her college and sorority friends. Her bachelorette was her professional dancer friends. But only family went to get wedding. Then she had an after party for everybody else. SO MUCH FUN

Vegas is THE PLACE for a bachelorette party only because it’s so versatile. One of the best bachelorette parties I’ve been to had 30 girls, and something for everyone. My friend was a crazy party girl, but also a foodie and a nature fanatic! Vegas checks all those boxes. We joked around and said that all the girls were on a “shift” there was a pool shift, a hike shift (there’s awesome nature near Vegas) , an early club shift and a late night club shift. It was so much fun because it was both friends and wedding party. I was in the wedding party and I felt it was nice to get to know the other girls I didn’t know well and it made us excited for the wedding.

I hate being the person to say “just wait until you have kids” 😅 but it’s true, you’re number one priority is keeping the child safe and the embarrassment of using the backpack goes away! And like Alisha says it’s more for busy places like Disney in my opinion! It also just teaches them to stay near you… okay I’m done 😂 love you guys!

I feel like an alien for not giving a literal fck about weddings AND marriage. I think it is because I also do not want children. If someone wants children, i understand wanting marriage and the full family unit. But as someone who never wants children, I’ve never once daydreamed of a wedding and I see no appeal to marriage. Alisha! As someone with a similar personality to yours (I also have ADHD and find myself interrupting a lot to keep my train of thought, and I simultaneously love a surprise while also overthinking everything), you can find someone who can give you the surprise sort of engagement experience you're hoping for! It's possible! I never wanted anything huge or dramatic, but I very much wanted to be surprised, and my now husband found the perfect balance to give me the engagement of my dreams. I won't tell the whole long story here because no one asked, but just know your perfect scenario is possible! And if you tell your partner what you dream of, the right person will find a cute way to blend their personality with your dreams.

This episode was super fun to listen to! I agree with your thoughts that everyone’s different as far as marriage goes. My boyfriend and I have been dating for a little over 5.5 years. We started dating my freshman year of college and have been together ever since. Since we’ve graduated, we have been long distance too so we’re saving money to move in together and then we will focus on getting engaged after that. Everyone definitely has their own things that people don’t consider when it comes to relationships. I sometimes feel judged and pressured that we should be engaged since we’ve been together a while but I have to ignore that and know it’s my life and it doesn’t matter what others think. Love you guys!!

I’ve been with my boyfriend for over 5 years and I’m constantly asked by my family when we’re going to move in together, get married, etc. And I’d love to do all of that but we literally cannot afford it. I’m 28 right now and I don’t know if we realistically will be able to afford kids in the future.

I agree with being a alone during labor and after birth. My mother in law who told me to abort my baby , stayed during labor, stayed at my house for days. I couldn’t enjoy my baby and family alone. It was hell .

applying falsies under your lashes is super popular in asia. I've been doing it since 2016 and it's such a game changer but it only works with lashes that don't have a thick band.

I was also not really into backpack leashes until I started working with children. And now I understand completely 😂 also side note, in one of the classrooms I worked in, a kid had a bracelet that has an AirTag on it! I don’t think it’s a crazy idea! I personally think the AIR tags are so odd to me because it’s not just you who can see your kid. Ya know. I get alerts when one is near me could you imagine what the creeps are doing? At least with the leah you have full control until they are responsible enough and then life 360 is just for your phone when they are old enough. AirTag is wayyyyyy too scary to me.

I have a cousin that through out our childhood and teen years we were on and off. In our mid 20s we were both in new relationships and our guys liked each other to the point of a bromance. They got married in may 2 yrs ago and my now husband and I were invited. Little did I know my cousin was so pissed at me because I got engaged a week before her wedding. I was proposed to the Saturday before her wedding which was also on a Saturday. Let’s just say, she and her man don’t talk to us anymore. I’ve been dating my now boyfriend for close to 3 years now and he gave me a promise ring 8 months into our relationship and i never take it off. it’s not a security thing with me more like a place holder. we both know we are going to get married one day and i have this ring as a reminder of that.

I said this years ago when remi tweeted about the back pack leash thing...lol It has nothing to do with your kid being "crazy", and everything to do with the people around you and safety of your children. I guess when you're not a parent, you don't see or are more blind to the world, but we can't even take our kids to the grocery store without constantly watching our surroundings. Imagine a theme park or mall.

Two kids and with how much craziness happens in the world I’m FOR it in busy places specifically The air tag can tell you where they are but if someone tries to snatch your child a leash is harder because you’re dragging my behind too 😬👋🏼 I personally wouldn’t use it regularly but in big parks and situations absolutely!!

Ok. I was the so against the backpack kinda mom. But I have a two year old , and she’s the calmest baby everrrrrrrrr. But when I tell you that backpack was genius…. …. It was genius! It’s not even that it’s for my crazy toddler. You know how you can turn for a second and your baby is not there anymore ? Because someone snatched them. Or because they just crawled or walked away. Literately loved the leash backpack when I became a mom. Before that? NOPE lol

AirTag Vs leash: (in my opinion !!) AirTag. Kid gets snatched and has to be traced Leash, your kiddo is attached to you. If someone tried to snatch them, you FEEL it. I know it’s weird. But i as a mom now could careless of how it looks and more about my baby’s safety 🫶🏼🥰
