Currently homosexuality and transgenderism is exalted and celebrated in Ireland as if it was a supreme gift from God which you are obliged to applaud, support and bow down to. This movement presumes legitimicy as if it was a new political party or a new religion with a flag. The Bible tells us that this profanity happened before throughout history. The week before the start of lent, i passed a young lad in the street in my neighborhood wearing a dress, make-up and long hair. The first 2 times i seen him was in the shopping centre, he had a look of determined anger on his face. The third time I seen him was up a side street. He looked directly at me and he had a very vulnerable, pleading look on his face. I felt sorry for him, in fact i couldn't get him out of my mind. I decided to pray a rosary for him everyday during lent as i felt very strongly that was what Mother Mary was asking of me. 2 weeks after Easter, i again seen the young man in my local supermarket. He looked purposeful, going about briskly doing his shopping. He wasnt dressed in woman's clothes but dressed as a young lad. Prayer is the only answer. We need to pray continually for our young ones. For sure, our prayers will be answered. Praise God.

My Granddaughter wanted some rainbow show laces. I bought them for her. She said, “Nan, will kids think I’m gay”? I told her the Rainbow belongs to God, not to gays. When I was her age (9) I would not have had any idea what Gay or homosexual even was. It’s a sad situation that now, at 9, she does. She attends a Catholic school too. This ideology is being forced on children in schools, thanks to our government.

Jesus Christ would condemn the sin of the practice of homosexuality but not the person, who nevertheless has to struggle with temptation and reject it on a consistent basis.

Part of the problem is that the norm of celibacy for all single people s not preached; I have not heard a homily on purity in I think decades. Chastity according to one's state in life is what they taught me; I have not heard about that in many years, not in several decades I think. I think if you preach on that, you will be the Lone Ranger; but since you are not from Texas, the home of the Lone Ranger, and since you do not wear a mask or leave a silver bullet behind as your calling card, you will have to make do with a Brown Scapular and leaving behind some blessed salt, having discharged your holy water bottle here and there. These groups are actually the original co-opters of the flag of many colors. For at least several decades here in the US, this quasi religious movement has hosted Rain Bow Camps where all things are “celebrated.” All things except our true Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, that is. When the gay community started as a group under the name of Dignity. That was rejected by the Church. But God has His prophets to proclaim that He would restore the fortunes of Sodom. He would have them beside Jerusalem as virtual innocence, and His chosen would come and give comfort and support. The first Gay Pride march was just one year after the '67 war. Are you afraid that they will shame the chosen to repent and call back their King?
