I couldn’t agree more! I’ve always hated the way they make them look. I personally think it makes them look cheap when they are trying to make them more “high dollar” looking. But that’s just my opinion! I saw paint them one nice color and let them be....

I have the the 2019 model on a 3500 one ton. I pull a Jeep 4 door rubicon and make it up 80 to Tahoe also hwy 50 to South Lake Tahoe with no problem. Tons of room.

I like the nice calm voice of the presenter, she does an AWESOME job explaining and showing everything. It is a very nice camper and it gives you the ability to use the truck for work or play. It sure is a lot nicer than the old camper I had years ago.

My first set up was with a slide in camper when it was just me camping. Now I have a 35 foot trailer with a family of 7 that I pull. I loved the simplicity of the slide in camper. Kids dont care too much to camp so I might just get another slide in for the quick get aways. This is a nice camper. Thank you for sharing.

Good point. A vacuum, even a small one would take up a lot of room. I love taking a couple of wash clothes and walking my "mop" around, good exercise.

A wonderful Truck camper for my husband and myself although I would have preferred pocket doors sliding out of the centre wall to give proper privacy and a large fold-up bathroom sink like you see in wet baths because I can just see that we'll never use that tiny sink but rather walk over to the kitchen - and you would rather wash your hands in the bathroom. For the rest the layout is just great. We both love the living area, kitchen and the King size bed.

Even though this video it's been a little bit old, big kudos for this Beautiful Lady for the info that she's giving us, After this pandemia I had lost my marriage, but I haven't lost my son, after April 2022 I will start my own business. Due to my multiple issues I can not work at all, the best way to be taking care of business will be hauling my own camper, that way I might rest or sleep whenever I have to. Since I will be a solo bundaking I won't matter where the sleeping time might hit me, due to my surgery I have sleeping desorder, all I'm looking for is a truck 250 or ram 2500 that can carry a camper and at the same time.can haul a 18ftr, trailer 9 000 lbs heavy, I still have child support and on top of that my son wants to go to university, been my only son he does not deserve to struggle any more after this pandemia!

Hope you do a walk thru of Eagle Cap 1160. I am thinking about getting that one and would love to see a video in detail on it. Have to order a F-450 XLT 4x4 dually chassis model with a 16.5k GVWR so I have the payload to carry the camper with 2k of spare change left over.

as long as it was a gasser you would be ok but with a diesel you would be running near max payload once this camper was loaded. Crazy heavy but it's like a small condo!

The bathroom killed it! Truck camper for this price go Lance and you get a rel bathroom. Plus the videos are EXTREMELY long! Took almost 18 minutes to get to that bathroom which was my kill switch.

I have an '06 F350 dually crew cab long bed 2WD. My payload is 5,265 lbs. on the sticker. This camper is 4,900 lbs. dry. The F450 has an even lower payload. Looks like an F550 is needed.

Thorough walk through... those are 3 slider brains in underneath storage RIGHT of ext metal pan sliding storage tray NOT for the jacks SAME with manual cranks since you cannot access the unit without back slider & at least Driver side slider out... Happy Trails

I love the layout of this camper. The only change I would make is I would put the toilet seperate where the wardrobe is to give the bathroom more room like I have seen in other truck campers. Also I would get rid of half the kitchen counter space to make more standing room. The counter looks bigger then the kitchen itself.

Very nice but I wouldn't choose this due to the fact that the theater chairs are located in the wrong place. It needs to be in the back and facing the TV. I'm very picky when it comes to watching movies and I expect a great angle and position when watching a great movie. lol

We like it a lot! We got it for the 1.) over dinette bunk, 2.) dry bath and 3.) California king bed...all with only a 9’10” floor length. We tow our 19.5ft boat with a 42” hitch extension.

"You're going to need a dually." Is this a joke? The base unit is 5000#. Add the weight of passengers, options such as awnings, solar, generator, then clothing, food, cooking gear and personal items. The combined weight is going to be well over 7000#. A 1 ton dually is not even close. This is going to take a 450/4500 or more likely a 550/5500.

350 dually has greater cargo capacity than a 450. Seems counterintuitive, but true.

If you drop the crew cab, 4x4, and Diesel, a "1 ton dually" can handle over 7,500 Lbs. But if your looking for the diesel, you are correct, 45 or 55 series. Good news is, those trucks are not as expensive as you think! Also you would have one of the most badass rigs on the road!

You can get a 4500 with a 15,000 pound rear axle and you will never get close to the weight you can carry. If you want to drive a half ton you need to look at smaller campers. Why would anyone be surprised if you want a bigger camper you need a bigger truck if you want a smaller truck then you need a smaller camper. If you graduated high school it is not hard to understand. This is not designed for a small truck so it will not fit a small truck, very simple to understand.

I would rather have a reclining couch or a second set of theater seating vs a jack knife storage couch. They got to remember couples are buying these...I don't need more sleeping space beyond me and the wife. I also don't want to crank my head to watch tv, and my wife doesn't want to hit her head on the tv when moving around in the kitchen when the tv is out. Overall a nice unit. The wife and I will have to find one and see if the seating changes can be made.

@Patrick Sarmouche I completely agree. Also all those slides are just extra things to fix down the road. Truck campers shouldn't be huge because defeats the purpose of a tiny camper to begin with, for anything else just get a travel trailer.

@Patrick Sarmouche I own a 2016 Eaglecap 1165 and the quality workmanship is terrible. Water and air leaks in the slides are one of their downsides.
