Thank you for the comprehensive presentation I don't understand why so many dealerships put out these 5 minute walk throughs that don't really show you much and give you no information at all.

Because they want to sell you the brands they carry. They want to sell you not show you. That the difference. For me the dealer I buy from is almost as important as the camper. Honest, credible, will they take care of me after the sale? This woman to me is trustworthy I'd buy from her than some guy telling me how nice sized the cabinets are when there not.

She's the best demonstrator by far. I didn't hear the typical annoying nice sized this and nice sized that and oh wow look it has a toilet paper holder and 2 screws to hold it on. 2 screws folks, nothing taped or glued in this camper. Take a look at this nice sized sink. Ya if your a gerbil, you can swim in it. She tells it like it is, her honest manner makes her credible and if she's credible, she gains trust. Awesome job. One thing, stop saying "so".

Just saw this model at an RV show yesterday and fell in love. Thank you so much for doing such a thorough walkthrough! This is probably one of the best RV walkthroughs I’ve ever seen. From the camera work to the production to the presenter, it was just fantastic. Please don’t pay any attention to some of the more... negative comments here- I was shocked at all the weird feedback you guys were getting. I really appreciated the work you put into explaining everything. I learned a lot I didn’t have a chance to at the show! Keep up the great work guys :)

If I ever decide to start another business, no matter what it is, I would beg this woman to do my commercials and description videos. Very seldom have I seen someone so well informed on their product, and so professional and personable on their presentation. I've been looking closely at these large campers from Host, Artic Fox, and Eagle Cap. Thank you once again P.J..

This was a really nice camper, and a pretty good tour. I do wish that she would've showed us inside more cupboards and drawers, but she did pretty good. I do really wish that she'd have shown us what the space was like inside without the sides extended, because that would have been really, really good to see. The camera work was also very good. Good video 👍

First of all, amazing production, I produce content for a living and noticed the large softbox reflected in the TV, perfect lighting and audio. I subscribed for that alone. I have few questions about the camper that I'd like to know if they're available options. I'd rather have a cassette toilet and a wet bathroom to save space. The two rear seats should be a convertible sofa so an adult can sleep in it. Lose the middle island and make it a single sink to save space, the pantry is a joke and save space and remove the doors.
@brendavanderford4214
@brendavanderford4214 4 жыл бұрын
My husband and I have this camper and the pantry is actually more like a spice cabinet and it is very useful. It is deep enough for cereal boxes; sandwich bag boxes etc. We usually store our dry food in the cabinet near the door. I like the island for the added counter space, comes in handy while cooking and serving meals. We actually ordered ours with the sofa on the rear that makes out to a small sleeper (child size). After using the camper on some long distance trips, we regret not getting the recliners for more comfort. The couch is just not comfortable for a 6' man and it is very stiff and just not comfy. I believe they could do better with both seating areas (eating cubby and rear seating). This camper is perfect for two adults. We love the side door entrance when we are traveling with our boat.

Lot of people don’t understand that it allows you to use your truck for other things, motorhome, and trailers have a second annual tax in many states. Plus you can go where a trailer can’t and even small motor homes have a huge overhang the will limit your travels. These are the pluses for a truck camper. Don’t need those features then buy a different type RV. They all have pluses and minuses.

@@PrincessCraft I like his idea better. I think your awesome I've seen a ton of presenters but a video format showing a quick view first then a full detailed take tour time version would great plus no one is doing it. Hello? No one is doing it give you a huge advantage over the rest. In my opinion as a customer. Fast forward, really. Ya you can but try it, not a good idea, pain in the butt and hard to do. SpeesinGB it up not good either it just goes so quick you really can't see anything let alone let it sink in. Bad response, horrible idea. Just my opinion. In fact, the only bad thing I've ever heard you say. It wasn't that bad but did surprise me I wasn't expecting that response from you. From a buyer's view, it's all about credibility. Can I trust you? Are you selling me or showing me? I want this camper and I want to buy from you not the guy the telling me that it has a nice sized draw or cabinet when it's plain to see it might hold 1 tooth brush. Get it? Another awesome informative honest video. Does 2 things. Makes me want to buy it and makes me want to buy it from you.

I think it's very very nice! The stereo that controls all your audio that's at knee level...yeah that's stupid. If it controls as much as it does...you wanna be eye level to see the menu as you scroll through the various functions. Hard to do when it's at knee level. Not a complete deal break but I see some points where leaking will take place after the camper has been subject to road virbration. For $60k it can be done alot better.
@dfwsecurity1697

Maybe Chalet did it better but they don't make pickup campers anymore. Maybe Host does it better and Artic Fox Silver Fox Edition is close but who does it better? This camper is just about as good as it gets in a pickup camper. All that in a pickup camper is not an easy task. One reason they cost so much is the amount of engineering it takes to get it all in that small space and still be balanced and safe. True I'd like a better radio location. I'd like a better radio. Bigger TV'S, a clothes washer dryer and a real jacuzzi tub. There getting there but it won't be 60k. More like 75-100k. You can get anything built you want but sadly it just won't make the weight limits of a pickup camper.

I have a question about the A/C in this unit, is ther a duct to get air into the bedrooms area how is the A/C air handled? I know most truck campers have a roof air with the air being distributed forward and rearward from the A/C grill, if this is the case how does the air from the A/C get to the cab -over area? I like what I see in this camper how does it compare to the Lance 1172 quality-wise?
@dfwsecurity1697
@dfwsecurity1697 5 жыл бұрын
No, you don't need them were talking 10 feet or so not 35-40 feet where you need it. Course I agree it would be nice. They cost enough already. Plenty cold and I like it cold. I thought of 2 units I live in the desert but you just don't need it unless you want a backup. Plus the engineers are very weight conscious. These are getting so big and so heavy you really need a larger truck than a 1 ton dually. Adding anything more doesn't help the weight. I want a washer/dryer in mine. Chalet made one with it but then stopped making them. They went out of business, sold the business but the new owners aren't making pickup campers. What a shame in my opinion they were the best. As for lance. Out dated small generic bathroom. Floor issues. Nice but not in the class of this or Host or even Artic Fox Silver Fox Edition. Stick to one of these or if cost is an issue look at Palamino for 22k you cant beat it. Also Alumi-lite, sparce amenities but light and last forever like an airstream. Happy camping.

So by the cost to buy this camper and the truck to carry it, you could get a class A motorhome, or an all terrain expedition vehicle.
@dfwsecurity1697
@dfwsecurity1697 5 жыл бұрын
All tertain expedition vehicle for 120k? Where? There at least double that more like 500k and a class a built like that at least 200k. Sure you can buy a cheap class a with cheap plastic fixture for 120 but you can't go where you can go with a pickup and camper. Plus you can't drop the camper and use the pickup as a pickup or daily driver. I'm just saying there are other considerations than cost. I do agree 60k is a lot for a pickup camper. It's a lot for a pick too. So is 500k. Check out Palamino campers. Not this nice but still very nice and I think 22k. You could ware the first one out. Buy another brand new one. Ware that out and buy a third new one for the price of just one of these or even a Host. Just an option.

How does this compare with the Arctic Fox - I'm from the UK and looking around. It would paired with a new Ford F350 crew cab 4x4 6700cc diesel in any case. (I would change the LPG to induction and diesel heater. also the fridge/freezer to a compressor model. Also possibly change the RV 240v for the UK and Europe with Lithium and a Victron inverter charger) Ah 102 inches wide too wide for the UK 99 inches MAX !

One of the nicest truck toppers I have seen and a nice presentation, but if I'm not mistaken, (and I played this part three times) it sounded to me like she said the price is around $60,000. Seriously? Let's see, after adding another $50,000 to $60,000 to that for a decent truck to sit it on your looking at around $110,000 to $120,000 for something relatively small, and doesn't even come with an A/C unit. When you consider the fact that you can buy a really nice, new 2019 motorhome for around $80,000 to $90,000, who in their right mind would choose to pay that much more for so much less? There must be something I'm missing ...

Yes, white is the only option from the manufacturer. Some trailer and truck camper owners have used vinyl vehicle wraps to get the look they're going for.

I don't buy the higher engineering costs. Sure there probably is some additional engineering cost but so do all new models. The basic design was engineered 50 years ago so the cost have long been paid for. Personally I belive The high cost is a rip off. Palamino campers are nice, no not this nice but nice. At 24k you can't beat the price. Options not with standing but if Palamino can build them at a reasonable price they all can. Plus you can't justify the extra 35 grand is due to upgrades. Some yes, but 35k? No. Give us all the reasons you want, the answer is greed!

That rubberized fabric roof with the screwed metal edge clamps, and plastic top fittings will be fine for a few years, then it will begin to leak, and IF.. IF..IF the frame of the camper is made of wood. rot will set in around those screw holes... then extensive roof resealing every year will be needed to reduce further damage. One piece fiberglass roofs are superior. This note is after 25 years living full time with RV's all across the US... look for full aluminum frame campers at a minimum. (I dont know if this one is aluminum frame or not... for 60K it should be.)

So are you saying Lance truck campers are better?
@dfwsecurity1697
@dfwsecurity1697 5 жыл бұрын
Lance campers are notorious for bad leaky floors. Plus the generic bathroom is small and the design lagging behind and dated. Other than that I like them. This camper is fully aluminum framed very well built and insulated. The roof? Rubber is not my choice either. I agree it's the one thing I don't like. However 12 year guaranty must be well made for them to offer.that on the roof. Check Host and Artic Fox Silver Fox Edition. That's it 3 choices. In my opinion. Maybe a used Chalet because there no longer made. Very well built.

This is why most want this camper so you go where no man has gone before it's perfectly fine just use a ton of common sense help might me days away also be prepaid spare tires yes plural as in at least 2. A Jack a winch boards to get you un stuck tow chains toe straps shovel traction mats get the idea. Well it's supposed to be an adventure. Enjoy.

@dfwsecurity1697
@dfwsecurity1697 5 жыл бұрын
Very well on propane. You can switch it to a diesel unit hook it to the trucks diesel tank if you wish. Safer course a little time hooking up the fuel. If your thinking diesel then dont order the propane generator. Ask if it's generator n re ready so the hook ups will be there. If your.not handy then you will be fine with the propane. As long as you have propane from inside just turn it on and start it simple.
