Format is great, but I also wanted to echo another comment: little too loud on the music intro. No complaints otherwise. Looking forward to your channel taking off! Loving the build vids, and I can't wait to see what you'll be making once you get the PrintNC up and running.

If you ever have the need for a good center punch, I’ve been using an optical punch, and has been a game changer when placing ultra precise detents..

I really like your videos, and this build, but could you please lower the volume of the music in editing so it matches the volume of your voice??

Thanks again for videos! I like the new format. At some point could you walk through why you decided on some parts vs the others? Like why the 24v power supply, and which one.

Man, it´s so nice, I´ve made an mpcnc, but it bends a lot when cutting at the reccomended FPT, which needs then shallower passes, so i was thinking on upgrading it somehow. Then i got at the junkyard one thk-30mm linear rails with 2 bearings , purely luck, they are awfully expensive... was thinking on what to do, but i see that this machine uses only one bearing per side, so then I can easy peasy cut it in half and use it in the y axis, also got 2 mgn12 with 400mm for the z axis. Sadly, i need 2 more linear rails to buy or find, but I think i'll follow you, and the printnc as a guide, thank you!.

These are great videos. I'm waiting on my Ali kit and these are keeping me pumped! Where did you get your punches, if you don't mind me asking? I'm eyeing the ones from HF.

Thanks! The transfer punches I was using were kindly borrowed from a buddy of mine, but they're actually from harbor freight. The punch I used for the templates was getting pretty dull towards the end of the build, so idk if you can get slightly better ones that won't dull for a couple bucks more. Just something to mention.

Thanks for the latest video Bran, it looks like things are coming along nicely. You mentioned that you had started to receive a bunch of other pieces for the build. When it's all done, would you be willing to put together a final parts list in case we want to buy the same things you do? For example. the aviation connectors look cool and I'm sure it'll become obvious how you're going to use them but it would be nice to know which ones you buy. For an enclosure, I've seen guys use old PC cases and that seems to work pretty well. There are lots of nice place to put stand offs for mounting boards, you can make a custom plate for your connectors and it'll look nice, plus you can mount a case fan to keep everything cool. Just a thought.

@@ProjectsbyBrian You do need access to the VFD control panel so mounting it in a PC case might not be the best. Really looking forward to seeing this make some chips!

Hey Brian...nice build...one questing...when you are mounting HGW rails, do you have nuts at the end of the screws(inside y pipe) or it is just screwed to y axis without tightening nut? I hope you understand what I am asking. :D

@@ProjectsbyBrian I can under that and I think that's why it's a good build it's way more solid then most, I got a few stepper kits from stepperonline on ebay at like $50 for nema23 so I hope some of the cost will come down.... but keep it up it looks awesome

Hi Brian. Thx for such incredible CNC machine. We are going to build it with my father. But in my country (Azerbaijan) there are no 75x50 or 80x50 sized profiles... I don't understand why. So only 70x50 is available for us. I looked at the video, and It seems to me that we wouldn't have problems with 70x50 (the main "50" size for plastics presents). Can you confirm that?

They are actually in the Fusion360 assembly file that you can find on the wiki. They will change depending on your steel dimensions.
