VFD Cable I used is no longer available on Ali from the seller I purchased from. I'm not comfortable recommending a cable that I haven't personally used, so I won't be providing a link for this, sorry.
Hey guys, this video is a little different than the others. I wanted to do more of a talking head video sharing my thoughts on the build so far. Overall, I'm very happy with the machine and am excited to use it in my future projects!

NOTIFICATION SQUAD ! Man ive been following your build...i wish i would have the time or just the patience to film my whole build, this helps so much to somebody thats completely new to it. Thanks for doing what you do ! You need to film some cutting once you get some time. Also, congrats on the baby !

I finally got my MPCNC cutting, just need to build a table and get the drag links on. You were right the dual endstop setup was no problem at all.

Such a clean looking build and enclosure! Great work! Thanks for sharing. 😊 I'll echo another posters suggestion to measure the deflection at the tool if you ever find the time.

Having build the MPCNC and the Lowrider, i found the PrintNC on your video. It will replace my MPCNC. I like the MPCNC, allows you to "get your feet wet" but since most of my stuff is aluminium, i will pull the trigger and build one. The lowrider was built specifically to cut a couple sheets of plywood for a project and then i disassembled it. As controller, ive built one based on GRBL ESP and i really loved it! so for now, i will use it.. Thanks!

Love it! For me at least it dosnt matter to much what your projects are, if it includes the cnc or the 3d printer I am likely to be interested. Very much looking forward to see what you do with the machine and the projects you tackle.

I've basically got my mechanical parts assembled. Need to take them back apart to paint them and then reassemble and square things. Your videos have been very helpful and are what got me on this path from my MPCNC, so thank you. One thought is that throughout your build various details about your build have been mentioned but I haven't always seen links, other than to Discord and the Wiki. I was thinking that it would be very helpful if the Wiki maybe had a section for builders to put up items from their projects. For example, it would be nice if you could share your Linux CNC files just as an example and to give a starting point for people like me who don't have any experience with this program/OS. I know the information is getting better but I still spend a lot of time searching for the bits and pieces. It's still a way from being a simple/user-friendly project but it is improving. BTW, congratulations on the new addition to the family. I was wondering how much it was going to affect your ability to use your CNC and I'm glad your soundproofing techniques are working so well.

Love your work Brian. Can i ask how dimensionally accurate parts your machine is able to produce in aluminium? From what i’ve seen so far, the PrintNC is really impressive for the price!

Good stuff. You inspired me to build a CNC too :) I don't have that much space though so opted for a smaller one. What's the deflection you're getting on the end mill when you pull it front-back-left-right by hand?

Did the sound tiles inside the box really do anything? Most sound insulation should come from the rockwool on the wall.

I just discovered you by a comment you made to another youtuber. I'm also a fellow Brian! With an "i" no doubt! All those wack "y" brian's can take a hike. Looking forward to watching your vids. Just seeing the background in this vid I wanna see how you made that enclosure for sure!

I built a vertical mill partially because I wanted to hog out 60% keyboard cases and parts lol. Good stuff. Personally, I wish we could source kits here in the USA instead of using flipping aliexpress and china but only really high-end stuff gets made here that you have to ask to find out how much something costs lol.

I've been following the build and would love to see a comparison video of the MPCNC to the PrintNC. I'm one long weekend away from starting the prints and buying the kit for the MPCNC but since it can't cut metal I've been holding off. Also, what is the different in the V3 version of the PrintNC?

@@ProjectsbyBrian Thank you. Do you recommend the path you took of starting with the MPCNC? I'm also "fairly mechanically inclined", have a woodworking shop, and several 3D printers but I don't want to take on more than I can devote my time to build and learn.

So recently I had a commenter mention to me that the Ali Express kit link is no longer working. I have removed it from my videos for now until I can hear from the designer of the PrintNC if there will be a new link I can point people to.
