The judge goes through the no contract rules with your "ex-girlfriend". When he says, "I don't know who her is?" he means he's got so many he wants to really, really know WHICH ONE. ;)

I don’t read this as a strategy or him playing games; he’s just got so many cases and charges against him (and perhaps so many exes he’s been accused of assaulting) that he genuinely didn’t know who he was being ordered not to have contact with. Of course, he could have expressed it…more eloquently.

Exactly. He keeps reoffending because he’s never had any kind of consequences for his actions. They are not doing him any favors going light with regards to discipline or consequences tha need to be increased with each crime. I would be concerned that he might kill one of his exes for “narking” or “snitching” on him. He shouldn’t brr er let out with the SAME stipulations as before his latest crime and arrest.

Mike, don’t know if you saw the arrest in Massachusetts after an armed standoff early this morning. The offenders were dressed in camouflage and had long guns slung over their backs when first confronted. 11 were arrested. The kicker: they claimed to be moors. Their car was loaded with weapons.

Just out of curiosity, what kind of qualifications are required to be a judge? I only ask, because this judge looks really young. Most judges I see on these videos are middle aged, but every now and then I see a judge who's very much on the younger side. I understand that there's a requirement to spend at least a certain amount of time practicing law. I kind of have this image in my head of judges all being older thanks to pop culture.

I know one lady that went from lawyer to judge by her early thirties. And I guarantee you that you couldn't of had a more knowledgeable and intelligent judge. She was a pretty little farm girl, just to be a complete package. But alas! I was to old, ugly, and stupid to try to "spark" with a lady like that! Life is so tough!

Putting the file to the end of the calendar in a pro se case is not always because of vexation of the court. When I did a demurrer plea (they were a thing at the time in California) to one of the first red light camera tickets given out in LA due to facial insufficiency of the "charging" document, that looked like a cable bill and had no attestation signature, the commissioner shuffled me to the end before I could even get the words "I demur" out. Obviously, his concern there was not giving the other sheep in the queue to be fleeced any ideas. He granted the demurrer sua sponte without bothering to schedule a hearing, that the People (sic) had a right to, presumably as he was instructed due to revenue/cost considerations.

I know its shocking but i feel like its seen as unprofessional because its distracting. And its distracting because you don't see it very often. So I feel like the more professionals rock whatever color hair they want, the less shocking it's gonna be, and the more acceptable it will become. Hopefully!

@@marra9654 Yeah, maybe that would work, more likely in America than anywhere else, as lawyers wear wigs in some other countries. I don't find it it shocking, if anything, I felt it showed a lack of respect for the seriousness of the court. I don't personally have a problem with him dying his hair, and maybe he's doing it for a reason.

So,....Pro Se is denying knowledge,....whether its claiming to not know the victim or denying the validity of the charges.........am i correct on this definition? Honest question,...... just trying to figure the answer without looking it up, the brain is a muscle that requires exercise. Its edited because sometimes i quickly type a thought and have to go back and add cartoonish punctuation to illustrate my intensity....just kidding but i do often forget punctuation on the first draft.........
