Pro Singles Strategy (Tennis Technique And Footwork Analysis)
1. Toss forward when serving and jump into the court
2. Return serve back down the middle
3. Move around your backhand (if possible), hit a strong forehand to a corner, and follow it up to the net
4. Split step as your opponent hits (every time)
5. Aim to your opponent’s feet when they come up to the net

another good video. I really like those that contain several pro tips in one. That way you've got a few things to work on, and see them in sequence to make them effective on court. Nicely done ! thanks

Great analysis Ryan. Kachanov is using a special technique to move his wrist and gains more racquet speed, isnt he? That would be another great series of videos.

Great form and strategy analysis. What was the play called when you pass on the passing shot and go for their feet then go for passing shot? 2 shot rally?

In order to do the low to the net shot that drops at your opponent's feet what is the swing path? It must not be as much low to high as the standard baseline rally shot? Correct? A Ryan video lesson of the low to the net from the baseline would be great please.

That’s a great question. One could argue it’s more low to high to create the necessary spin needed in certain situations to pull the ball down. I’ll make a video on it in the future for sure. Thanks!!

Don't follow, sorry K escaped with a lucky net cord, no? So how should he have avoided finding himself in a vulnerable position with a shot fired at his feet?

Going forward when your opponent is in trouble is a smart play. That doesn’t mean you’ll win every time you try it. If a two sided coin landed on heads 60% of the time it would be smart to bet on heads every time. You’d know that you would lose 40% of the time but that wouldn’t bother you bc you you’d be winning 60% of the time. Same thing with going to the net. You win more than you lose. That’s all that matters. Thanks!!
