➡️ 2.5 gal plastic bathroom trashcans (Walmart $1.50): Great for greenery, roses, carnations, anything tall
➡️ 1.5 gal plastic trashcans (Walmart $1.00): Great for shorter items like spray roses, etc.
➡️ Mason jars/cups/crap vases: Great for delicates and very short-stemmed buds.
So prepping your flowers is of upmost importance, and picking the right size of containers is key! If you bungle the prep, it will impact your end design.

I’ve always bleached my buckets and rinsed well to kill any bacteria in the plastic. And, I would add flower food to help extend the life of the flowers. How do you feel about refrigerating the flowers so they harden up?

Should the flowers be refrigerated over night Wednesday or thursday or Friday night before wedding? Is this required?

No, I only recommend popping sensitive items in the fridge in hot weather months. Things like Anemones, Astrantia, Stock when it's 95+ outside. Flowers look the best a few days before they expire, so the goal for event florals is that they look the best on the event date not to make them last 10 days. So, for wedding florals I leave them out so they 'ripen', but if I'm using the flowers to make a bunch of Mother's Day arrangements I'll put them in the cooler so they will open for the client and last longer.

What do you add to your water?

I think clean water and clean stems (free of leaves) works best! I have used floral food before and still do for flowers with short vase life, but to be honest, I don't see a difference.

How many days after purchase that make the blueberry to open pretty as your?

Do you recommend all flowers/greenery to be in warm water?

I only use warm water when I need something to open quickly. Regular, cool tap water will work fine in all other occasions!

What is the name of your red rose.

The rose that we use in the video is called Blueberry and is actually a deep berry color. We have a wide variety of red roses on our site such as, Freedom, Explorer and Hearts!
