Alfa Romeo? No Problem!

Alfa Romeo? No Problem!

2 жыл бұрын

Hello guys! With so many years of experience, why are manufacturers still making such mistakes? Or do they do? The emission restrictions they are currently imposing on builders are overwhelming, all builders in one way or another are suffering from the consequences of putting in various emission reduction devices. In this case, the FIAT group managed to resolve the situation very well and on top of that it managed to further reduce emissions. Also ensuring a longevity of the engine and these devices, DPF, EGRs for much longer than the initial systems.

Hello and thanks for your information. I have that oil consumption from an 1.3mj 199b1000 Engine. It's uses about 500ml every 1000klm and I have noticed that when a Regen occurred it burns the most oil off that 500ml. Hi. I will try Liqui Moly Engine Flush Plus next week, just before the oil change. The thing is that my oil is at the max now, and the aditive is 300 ml. The engine should run for 10 minutes with the aditive in the oil. Is 300 ml over the max a problem? Also, what do you think about Liqui Moly Visco Plus?

@@alfaromeonoproblem Sorry I forgot to mention, that Visco Plus is not the oil, it is aditive for decreasing oil consumption. It is added to the oil, but I don't know how it does it. Hey, my friend has Opel Meriva with FIAT 1.3 mjt engine. A plastic T-shaped part that connects coolant hoses had broke while he was driving, and he had lost all the coolant. He noticed that the temperature had increased, and when he stoped he checked the coolant, and he did not see any. He had put some water in the system, and drove it at minimum rpm and down the hill on idle to the mechanic, he had found the issue. That is fixed, but now he has that "engine oil degradation" warning light. His engine had the DPF. He says that he had restet the service interval in March when he had changed the oil. So, what could have caused this? Oil oxidation due to overheating? Fuel in the oil, but why all of the sudden? He has no signs of head gasket faliure so far.
@alfaromeonoproblem
@alfaromeonoproblem 2 жыл бұрын

I burn off all the carbon of my piston rings, with high rpm on my 1.4 Sandero, so no oil consumption at all. :p Off topic: I just had the left CV axle (LPR) replaced, and the gearbox oil (Elf Tranself NFP 75W80). And... Still have the same CV niose when turning sharp left under throttle, and clunking when let go off the throttle sometimes, as I had before. You told me that it could also be the transmission itself, so I guess it could be that, if nothing else can be the cause. Anyway, 100 Euros down the drain and no improvement... -_-

@DashCamSerbia
@DashCamSerbia 2 жыл бұрын
@@alfaromeonoproblem The left one. I think it is the left that was making the sound when turning, because in a 90 degree left turn, left wheel is turned more then the right one, so CV joint is under more load. I know they usually say, if you hear it when turning left, it is the right axle. But mechanics have checked them both some months ago, and told me that they are still good, but if one of them is the problem then it is the left one.

Hi there, Suzuki Ignis with first generation of this engine, with 51kW, no dpf, only has catalytic converter, started consuming oil at 280.000 km. The car uses Castrol magnatec 5-40dpf, all the highest quality filters, constantly pouring diesel with an additive as a kind of premium diesel fuel. The clutch set, the chain, the chain sliders for the chain, the rollers all, as well as the chain tensioners were replaced.
