My first thought was. Is he wearing Ladies Underwear?! Yup...hes definitely wearing womens underwear... I train JiuJitsu and we have No Gi Training I have never seen someone show up wearing a Banana Hammock. Although Old School no Gi they did train with similar apparrel, but its become increasingly more modest over the years. And sure we talk about Jesus alot when were training, but this wrestling Ministry stuff is really weird, and very bizarre. Also do you remember those TV Pastors that would power slap people and claim he was casting out Demons, or healing people or whatever, and theyd fall to the Ground flopping around? This kinda reminds me of that. My Evangelical Christian days werent particularly Crazy, but yah this is super weird. I dont see the Gospel in it.

Also on a side note Former Wrestler Scott Barrows was recently Baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latterday Saints. I saw him on Ward Radio.

I’m LDS but honestly I’m happy when people have religion in their lives and point their compass towards Jesus, no matter how they go about achieving that.

This was really interesting. I wonder if most of these partitioners go to additional services for a more reverent type of worship as well. I’m glad they have uplifting messages.

"Let them worship how, where, or what they may"... If something, anything can point one to Christ, that might be their journey to enlightenment., perhaps we should see where the road ends.

Yes! I believe in showing respect for everyone's choice of worship. It may not be for me, but that doesn't make it bad

God seems to habe a refining process. As long as the principle is sound, God will refine rough-and-ready people to be closer to His image..... May take a while....

Yknow the Evangelical World is a Fascinating place. There were these Christian Body Builders that used to do something similar, and for some reason I had some Comic Book that featured them as they Battled the Forces of Darkness which as I recall consisted of some guy in a Shadowy Robe putting around on a Computer in a Dark Room. It was actually kinda stupid. But it was kinda surreal to be Conducting Sunday School and all that goes with that, and listening to that wonderful Lesson to going home and going. Wrestling Church? Then finding its a bunch of half naked guys wearing Womens Underwear slapping eachother around was a bit of a reminder of why I will never go back.

If you can find a way to spread the message and connect with others, what exactly is Blasphemous about this? Wrestling is known to be fictional and a drama in the first place.

@@joshharris7004 that’s what Satan wants people to think! God deserves respect and reverence. Those who truly want to worship will seek Him out in Holy places not the wrestling rink.

Just took a look on their Facebook page. They introduced title belts not long ago. Their world championship doesn't, however the secondary title is called the interdenominational championship with a cross in the center of the belt.
