Nice vídeo, thanks! I no longer use self-righting. It already tore an original tire in front of me, generates a great jolt in the transmission.... Anyway, besides stressing the system, it only works about 50% of the time. Unfortunately this system is not a solution for the walk-of-shame...

Lol yeah I know what you mean starting to feel it's not worth using

All blacked erevo with those wheels looks nice. I bought the same badlands with hex 17mm for my maxx, but it came without the m3 screws.. do you know whats the length of those m3 needed?

I'm not worried about street, I got the Road Rage wheels and my Rat Rod body for street,but I just ordered these because I have the 2.8's on my Rustler VXL and love the hell out of these tires, what's going to be funny is how is my Erevo is going to look with these wheels and a Pro-Line 1973 Bronco Body. I sprayed the liquid mask yesterday and am about to check and see if I'll be doing any airbrushing today, hopefully my wheels will be in Monday or Tuesday and by that time the the Bronco body will be finished and we'll get to see what a 73 Bronco Erevo 2.0 with Badlands looks like.

@@samjohnson517 It turned out pretty sick looking if I say so myself. I uploaded some pics of it to the Traxxas Family FB page if you want to check it out

Great vid! Which tire did you prefer in the end, the stick Revo tires or the Badlands? Did the Badlands make the truck much wider? Are the Badlands more durable than the stock tires? Thanks! :)
@samjohnson517 Жыл бұрын
I like the Badlands, truck is more nimble and seems to have more punch out of the corners they are still on the truck and holding up great!
@whome5810 Жыл бұрын
@@samjohnson517 Nice one! Thanks for the reply! Is it wider with the Badlands or is the wheel offset about the same as the stock E-Revo wheels? :)
@samjohnson517 Жыл бұрын
@@whome5810 it's been awhile but I want to say it's a wider if you go to prolines website you can buy different hubs for those rims to change the offset I believe the ones I have are 1/2 inch wider

Nope, self-righting didn't do that, those talons come unglued from the rims and that is most likely what caused the blowout. I had a pretty much new set of talons because I replaced my tires with MX Badlands a few weeks after I got my Revo 2 and then about 5 months later built a second Revo 2 out of parts I had leftover from upgrading and went to use the talons and they were unglued from the rims in multiple spots. I just ordered a set of belted Trencher HPs for my hopped up Revo 2 and going to be placing my MX Badlands on my stock Revo 2.

LOL on the enough parts to build another one I'm getting close ! How do you like the mx's?

IK this is an old video but you probably found out that those aluminum pushrods are total garbage, bc I sure did. Also, the grey pushrods that came out maybe a year after the 2.0 was released are tons better than the original shiny ones and hold up very very well, no need to upgrade the grey pushrods at all!
@rccrew49324 жыл бұрын
so how did the tires do on the e revo?
@samjohnson5174 жыл бұрын
I really like them, for me it handles a lot better, more like a truggy and for whatever reason I don't seem to break parts as much with these, probably due to the lighter weight. the downside is that it is a little harder to do tricks in the air, backflips and stuff and it does not self right (with 18/46 gears)
@rccrew49324 жыл бұрын
@@samjohnson517 ok thanks. I'll see if I can get some. I run the Proline Badlands but they are such big and heavy that I've broken 3 diffs till now
@TheMrKarolus3 жыл бұрын
@@rccrew4932 you mean mx38 badlands?
@samjohnson5173 жыл бұрын
@@TheMrKarolus no MX 38s are the big ones they are almost 7 in tall , these 3.8s are about an inch shorter they're smaller and lighter a little narrower.
