Today on the show, we have with us Dr. Ramiyar P. Karanjia. He is an M.A., Ph. D. in Avesta-Pahlavi from St. Xavier’s College, University of Mumbai, and is presently serving as the Principal of Dadar Athornan Institute. Also, he is an independent researcher in history and ancient Iranian languages.

@@AB-yp7nc Zoroastrian's sacred language is Avestan which is also an Indo-European language. It's not derived from Sanskrit. Rather Sanskrit and Avestan are sisters languages. They had common origins. Abstain from claiming every goddamn thing to be yours.

Later on they settled themselves here in India because Jadi Rana the ruler of sanjan (valsad, Gujarat) allowed them to live here & then they settled themselves. B4 their genocide, parsis hated Indians specially Hindus.

“Zarathustra was born in western Iran”. You mean Afghanistan?! It’s amazing how misleading people can be. Only the British call Zarathustra Iranian. He was born in Balkh Afghanistan just like Rumi. Afghanistan was called “Bactria” at the time.

Zarathustras childhood sounds a itsy bitsy similar to Krishna's me thinks. The Pharoah killing all Hebrew new borns at the time of Moses birth and even King Herod trying to kill all babies fearing the birth of the King of Jews (Jesus) also sounds like Kansa trying to kill Krishna. Somewhere...something is not right...there seems to be a common thread.

If you think about it the world is created with scarcity. As a result it is full of predators, who do evil in order to overcome their scarcity. The predation becomes sophisticated such that you often get normally "good" people or groups predating on better people, whom they often become jealous of (like the story of Joseph and his brothers). So it is relative in that sense. Of course the "good" people have to then demonize or "STRAW MAN" the better person in those more sophisticated cases. But it is still the SAME phenomenon, self serving predation. So evil is all about inherent scarcity in the world and how we handle it.

According to studies Aryans migrated from Atlantic or Angel Island to Cyberia due to sanking the island by flood. Then cyberia weather turned to get freezing cold. So they split to two group. one group moved to west to the north of Germany, which they called Perussian. The second group moved to south to Caspian see where they split to three parts Persi Parti and Mad. OAHSPE a Book revealed to man in the last age. An account of the government of heaven and its history to the present age. Zarathustras story is there well narrated. An account of his life till death. Very similar to the story of Jesus.

The answer which i would give to the question - why evil exist in this world is because of IGNORANCE Ofcourse i agree that Good should be able to protect itself from the attacks of the evil - that is the reason Lord Krishna asked Arjuna to fight in the battle of Kurukshetra for the sake of Good. So it is not only important to be Good but it is also important to be strong enough to protect the goodness of else there will be continuous onslaught of evil which is quite evident from numerous Islamic invasion on India which led to huge Massacre of people whether it is of Nalanda University by Bhaktiyar Khilji or it is of Somnath Massacre by Mahmud of Ghazni.

i hearded everywhear the theory that zarathustra interverted the asuras and devas as ahura and daeva and thus macking the demons god and the demons out of the gods. but zoroastrians don't look evil or satanic ! what the reality behind this claim?

I have complete different theories. Note that it's just theories I don't claim it to be true and I myself completely doesn't believe in those theory so anyways. Even Mitra and Varuna are stated to be Asura in Rig Veda now the question is are asuras bad and evil, mostly yes but are every Asura evil, no. So I personally think that there are two types of classifications. Asura was a term used for title "Lord" and also for asuras opposite of Suras/Gods. Despite their name is same but their meaning is completely different. The other theory is that Asuras aren't really evil beings but power seeking beings but as usual power seeking beings are generally harmful as most seek powers to harm others but that doesn't mean every power seeking being is evil some beings are neutral or even good which they use it for betterment for others. So simply power seeking beings became Asura/Demons and Beings who seek truth became Sura/Gods. Again this is Just my theory it is kinda stupid to be honest

The Concept Of a embodiment of evil and Embodiment of Goodness came from Zoroastrianism (most probably). And I don't really think Varuna is Mazda can be a possibility, certainly everything can be a possibility but I don't really think Varuna is Ahura Mazda

Nah , Abrahamic religions tend to have a few hard-to-accept features to non-Abrahamic people , it's just symbolism if you know what it means . Literalists say that God created Adam and Eve 6000 years ago , it's important to emphasised "literalists" because they want to read things literally , just a little bit of understanding about symbolism and we can coexist without being a-holes to each other ( I say this as a Dharmic person )

The Bible does not only teach stories of Creation , read it to know more about Christian philosophy and morals . Please go to Google and type "was Zoroaster a vegetarian" It is indeed very unfortunate that an ancient vegan civilization of Persian Zoroastrians, who were the ancestors of present day nonvegan Parsis, is completely wiped out due to Parsi priests, who cannot resist eating animals, as they are delicious. Iran or persia(which greek named iran) was a vast area from the west to Mediterranean sea to neighbouring by Europe as modern day even some part of europe and from south from egypt to the east which indu valleys was located (modern day pakistan and keshmir and panjab even) … So azarbaijan was almost the centre of iran

I believe this propeht existed but Allah send prophets after Zorostro Like Abraham Moses Jesus Mohammed , Muslims believe there are 1500+? Prophets send by allah . Allah said he send prophets to all nations , so we Muslim believe zorostro can be a prophet send by god because he believed in the oness of god. And teached the same things. I don’t see it as new religion after zoroastrian belief but the prophecies continued by god to warm other nations

Zaratustra is the latinised name of prophet زرتشت (Zaratoaht) And please, just because there are Indian Zoroastrians doesn’t mean that they represent the real Zoroastrians. Thanks and have a great day!

Actually no egotistical human would talk like this if they're so "highly spiritual". Religion fall under Brihaspati and meant to spread worldwide due to it expansive nature whether you like it or not. This is the power of planetary effect on earth controlled under Lord Shiva & Vishnu including many other. And Asia is the birthplace and the mother of all religion. Choose knowledge over ignorance.
