I personally like Melik's placement on the program... not because I have any agreement with his defense of his personal talking points, but because, on numerous occasions, it pulls the curtain to show the absurdity of the right. Barber said, "we need to embrace our deepest moral values" and Mr. Abdul - on the other side - shows just how far off we are... Not just as a nation, but as a society and as a people.

Conscious black Americans could care less about a wall, illegal immigration or anything associated with that BS. More illegals equal fewer jobs. We have domestic, internal issue which directly impact black Americans. Immigrants are not our problem. Where's the argument about the criminal injustice system, police reforms, police brutality accountability. Real black American identity and indigenous rights. Corporate greed and monopolization. There are many issues impacting this country. immigration and especially illegal immigration is NOT a black care in any way shape or form. In fact Mexican American icon Cesar Chavez denounced illegal immigration because it reduced jobs and wages for Americans.
