we have COOP grocery and farm centre as well! No Sobeys, but close enough to Red Deer. 15 mins from Gasoline alley Costco. Great video., and you are right. It is a beautiful little gem in central Alberta. The walk around Napoleon lake at Centennial Park is fantastic, and the Library here is amazing!

I was born in Innisfail. I live in Calgary. I drive up there a few times a year. Love the drive, love the visits. Fun fact . The original name of Innisfail was Poplar Grove. It was changed when the railway came through and renamed it. Innisfail is Irish Gealic for Isle of Destiny. BTW, the other noise is from the train. When it comes through town it sounds it's horn. It is loud. Regardless of what time they come through. Morning noon or night.

Hi All from Innisfail. I moved here in 2000. Looooove it here. Fun fact, Innisfail is built on a magnetic meridian. Stay cool and groovy.

Your video pretty much sums it up! We moved here to the west side, last May with our 20 and 21 year olds. Although we all agree it is a very pretty town, they wish we had moved to Sylvan or Red Deer because there's nothing much for them to do here. Within the first few weeks of moving here, I rode my bike to the Innisfail Aerodrome. What a ride! I got to fly with someone I just met there and met another pilot (you probably know him} who took me flying a few months later! Innisfail is a great little town!

Might want to mention the weather in Innisfail, especially in winter. Seems to be on the storm track for nasties blowing due east from the mountains. If the highway is closed, it is almost always closed at Innisfail. Country is very open there. You also left out Glennifer Lake, a recreation area just 20 minutes west. Very popular in summer, especially because it is stocked with fish. Nice drone shots.

Any one, does Innisfail has a high crime rate. It was mentioned in another KZfaq video that I saw on Innisfail. We were thinking of moving to Innisfail this year. It’s very scary.

I was watched @livinginalbertanow on Innisfail. It talks about the high crime rate in Innisfail. We are thinking of moving from Toronto to Innisfail to retire.

Bull shit. An old mobile on a rented lots costing over $150,000. The only homes here are as high as Red Deer. 1988 mobile on its own tiny lot $219000. Currently a 1974 on a lot listed at $179,000. That's what he calls affordable?
