The public library in Motherwell in Gqeberha has been badly damaged by vandals. It is unclear when it happened as it only became public knowledge this past week. During the lock down the libraries were closed.
The city has 27 libraries and four suffered at the hands of vandals.
The damage is being assessed by the municipality.
