Anna looks much bigger than she says. I think she tends to wear stuff that is too small, and that is her go to anyway. I don’t know a lot about Anna though, just through pulpy.

I think she’s bigger. She’s got a simulator body type to me in terms of where she carries her weight. I’m 5’11” and 240 pounds, I’m a 3X on top, 4X on the bottom. I have to take the waist in cuz with curves you still keep more shape than other plus sized women. But to actually fit? Go up sizes to fit the widest part. Glitter is probably bigger to fit those hips and thighs.

It’s so weird that “free food “ and “men” are the main running threads through her entire life. Peetz was her food delivery man, Nader was free food (badly cooked), Salah is cheap Kuwait food. No realistic goals or ambitions, just food and men who are not interested. It’s very sad that she chooses this…. I just don’t get it.

So I’m Chantal’s age, the spaghetti she’s talking about is just Depression era/War era type cooking. My grandmother and silent generation father cooked like this. It took awhile for people to realize they didn’t HAVE to cook like they were extremely poor or on rations anymore. Everything was dry goods, in a jar or in a can. Yes I grew up with very sad food and a lot of jello. My Mom who’s parents were Just too young for the war and my Mom being a boomer, cooked WAY better food.

Same. Though my mom cooked a very tasty version of war era foods. My mom would only be 78 this year, but she was resourceful. I just learned that she once traded another lady to sew my cheerleader uniform by plowing and planting her an acre of potatoes. My mom used to get angry at me and tell me I would be sent to the poor farm. I didn’t realize that was a legitimate fear for her.

I am currently wearing a romper and LOVE it! But mine has a zipper and buttons in the front which makes things easy. As far as Anna goes, she can either keep working towards healthier size or wait until Jessica Simpson remakes the clothes to accommodate those few with non-standard bodies.

I think Anna is a bit behind the times. I have a feeling that when she says she wants a more 'country' look what she's really wanting is a cottagecore look. Because none of the things that she thinks is country in terms of style are actually country, they all just look like outfits found on a pinterest inspired cottagecore board. Which is cute, but not what she sounds like she's looking for.

45:35 it doesn't make bacteria and its not harmful unless you put the hot food in a container that wont cool like a thermos or aluminum. Old fridges took a long time to cool and putting a pot of hot food in the fridge would raise the temperature of the whole fridge. Modern fridges dont have this issue (unless youre putting like a 5 gallon bucket of boiling water in it)

I am in a Western State in the US. We had “shaghetti feeds” and “pancake suppers” in the basement of the Methodist Church. That’s different than French Catholic. These are the cheapest “meals” you can make for large groups and it was usually done to earn money to scholarship money together. It was bland, but it had to be because all of the elderly folks couldn’t eat salt or pepper, much less garlic. We did not add extra mozerella cheese and then add parm, though.

Anna showing her legs is just disturbing! I could never do that! I used to be morbidly obese but lost 195 pounds. You just have to wear what looks good on your body. I would NEVER show my legs if I was super morbidly obese like Anna!

not to be a debbie downer but if that top is truly crocheted, then that was not made ethically bc crochet has to be made by hand (the movements are too complex to be recreated by machine) and any top takes too many hours to make for it to be made with fair pay for what you pay at walmart for it. it could, however, be a machine knit that is engineered to look crocheted, so that is a little better. overall, genuine crochet styles are usually a clear indicator of exploitation, unless it is sold at a higher price.
