What is the max hookups to a sump-basin you recommend Chuck? In regard to volume of incoming water I mean. I know that Zoller is a mighty pump but still there must be a limit. Just was curious out of your plethora of experience. Thanks in advance.

I have 2 downspouts and 4 catch basins that drain a backyard that completely floods from my neighbor's hill. I have 1 sump pump, Zoellar M-98. My discharge line goes out to a swale about 50 ft from the basin, I followed Chuck's directions on his many videos by waterproofing the foundation to protect my home first. I also had a problem of water seeping in at the footer. The water was so high it came across the patio and under the back door. I also had a problem with the catch basin's grate clogging, so I replaced the flat grates with Atriums that Chuck showed us this spring. My problem was just on one side of my house. During heavy rains, the pump pushes the water constantly and I never see any standing water and never water coming over the patio. I keep a portable generator handy to run that pump in case we lose power.
