We decided last minute to put the 2JZ Back where it belongs!
Over 2 years ago i swapped the 2jz into an s550 Mustang and took it on drift week - the car worked well but it needed more instant torque to help it along, and the 2jz was great on the street for driving around and doing burnouts but it needed more displacement for drifting.
Last year we swapped a 3uz into my s14 right before Gridlife, that engine felt really well other than it needed more power - the plan was always forced induction but with where the steering shaft was and how complicated the headers were going to be I decided to put the 2jz back in there! And now it just feels right

2J was definitely the right call to actually get it working right for gridlife but would still like to see the turbo 3uz finished or swapped into the other shell.

Saw the s14 was at gridlife and it made my day. It's always been one of my favorite drift cars. I still remember Adam banging it off limiter back in the day and constantly apologizing for doing so. You've always been awesome in that car so I'm glad to see you back in it.

I've been watching for a really long time (since before the Supra build started) and it's great to see the 2JZ back where it belongs though I have to admit that seeing the 3UZ built would've been great too. I hope to see it make it into the back up shell. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the process in one take but to be honest have enjoyed seeing things broken up as well. Coyote build for the mustang in the future?

Sad to see the UZ come out... but the 2JZ in that car just works. Honestly the UZ requires a proper build and would be perfect for the Mustang! Just playing musical engines with the two cars. Gives the Mustang the power and torque you want while keeping it a unique build on your channel instead of just a typical LS Or Ford powerplant like mustang builds. I can't wait to see the S14 ripping on track again!~ Hopefully makes you fall back in love with drifting again. Cause I miss the actual drifting/driving content.

Been here since s14 was built makes me so happy, this was and is my favorite youtube drift car, the kit colors wheels stance interior, looks so mean and agressive, there are obviously million s14's but this one always had some kind of unique presence for me, hell yeah!

I would really love to see a revamp on the colors for the s14. I think keeping it the same color with a new livery would really bring the shadow of the beast back. Maybe a new body kit to complement it as well. Awesome content man.

Looks great when cleaned up and without all the dust on it. Paint the valve cover wrinkle black so it doesn’t look like it just came from the engine importer n your set. Corvette is looking like it needs some love.

Good to see the S14 up and going again with the 2j was such a great reliable car. I hope your putting a barra in the Mustang. If you need one hit me up ive got a few here in Australia inc an 8 sec turbo one and a NA high comp ITB one. Plus my e gas daily (greentop) also have a spare na motor and auto

I have built an A70 race car with a turbo 1UZ and the only option was log manifolds for the exhaust, there was so little room. Maybe built the 3UZ and boost it in the mustang? That would be a cool japanese twist, they sounds phenominal!
