Gardein is my favorite line I think. I have yet to try anything from them that I don't like. They are only slightly behind Beyond for me.

Out of the Gardein products I have tried, I didn't like; Turkey Cutlets with Gravy, Meatballs, or the chicken strips. The meatballs might have been because of the sauce my grandma used on them. The chicken strips are okay mixed with certain things but not alone. I also didn't like them in the Marie Callender's plant based chicken pot pie. They tasted very rubbery in the pot pie.

I just tried Gardein and loved it. It is healthier and cheaper than Beyond. I haven't tried Beyond, but unless it goes on sale for the same price, I will stick with Gardein. I tried their Gimme Lean, which has zero fat per serving!

100% agree Beyond is the best and Gardein is a great 2nd choice. I would love to see a vegan chicken nugget/ tenders taste test! Oh, and I do sometimes use ketchup with my vegan sausage and tofu scramble. 😆

The Gardein breakfast sausages are my faaaaves. Soooo good. I eat 'em with pancakes and in breakfast sammies. The Beyond breakfast sausage isn't available in stores in Canada but A&W uses them for their vegan breakfast sandwiches and they're yum too!

Their chicken patties are scary accurate. I give up meat for Lent usually and I bought Gardien patties and I spit out the first first bite and ran to my freezer to check the ingredients. I could have sworn it was real chicken but it was even better because there was no gristle (which is why I'm not usually a fan of chicken)

We love the Gardein breakfast sausage! It's actually really good just cooked in the microwave. Never actually tried it any other way.

It’s not always about cooking methods. Some people have different taste buds than others. It’s great if you like a specific brand, but not everyone will! 🙂

Our family loves Lightlife Gimme Lean Meatless Veggie Sausage. We use it in so many recipes, from biscuits and gravy to homemade meatballs. We freeze it and slice it frozen to make thin patties in our cast iron skillet. So good!

I love Gardein! The maple flavored Gardein breakfast sausage is the best. I haven't been able to find the Beyond breakfast sausage yet.

I enjoyed this sausage review I think more with just the two of you! It made the review more comprehensive and easier to understand without people talking over each other. Also, perhaps in the next review, you could mention where each of the products are sold so we know where to pick them up :)

ngl this channel is one of the only channels that's getting me through quarantine. These taste test videos are my favorite! Glad to have you guys back! Have you tried the new trader Joes "Turkey" burgers? Not a huge fan of their protein patties but their turkey burger version is a new favorite! Not sure I've ever had a meatless turkey burger before

I like the Gardien maple patties on an English muffin and I love the field roast maple sausage chopped up with cubes hash brown potatoes and make tacos with onion and bell peppers and sirache sauce and ranchera sauce

I love your ratings. I’ve tried all of these and gave them all the same ratings except the Farmland. I don’t think you cooked it enough. Mines brown when I cook it and it’s great with potatoes and just eggs because of the sweetness.

Im OBSESSED with gardein breakfast sausage, I’ve been vegan for 2 1/2 years but I’ve actually never had non-vegan sausage! They are by far my favorite brand of them. I usually put it on Ezekiel bread with just egg, chao cheese, and dr praegers sweet potato hash browns. Epically delish!

Agree with your top picks. Simple Truth also makes a good breakfast patty and it's bigger than the Gardein. Fits perfect on a mini bagel with some Just egg 😋

Gardein is my favorite I’ve tried! Can’t wait to try the Beyond. I wouldn’t feel too bad about not liking the sweet ones - I’m not one for sweet breakfast “sausages” either but there’s a market for people who love it! Maybe some sweet “sausage” people will see this and buy those now! 😂

Jasmine I love your summery cute top. It's going to be 105 degree tomorrow 🔥 The only sausages patties I had were Morningstar and Trader Joe's brand. Both were okay yet had so much weird ingredients and outrageous sidium. This was many years ago. But I'm willing to try the Beyond Brand and Gardein. I know BB make great burger from Carl Junior. Haven't had one since Feb.

I don't think I have tried any of these patties or sausage links, but I grew up eating the Morningstar sausage patties and honestly, it wasn't until a few years ago I realized they were not real meat. I haven't had vegan breakfast sausages since going vegan 3 years ago, but Morningstar is always a great one if you're looking for a good patty! I'll definitely have to try some of these ones out.

The Beyond sausage is INCREDIBLE! But before that one came out my favorite, as a southerner who grew up eating sausage patties every single morning, the Trader Joe’s Breakfast sausage is INCREDIBLE as well! Beyond beats it but I cant believe you guys didn’t include TJ’s! 😆

The Gardein maple flavor sausages are excellent, you should try those. They are not super maple flavored but more subtle.

Gardein is by far my favorite. Well, the beyond meat sausage is a close second now lol. But they have such a good texture and an amazing rosemary/thyme flavor.

I've tried several of these vegan sausages. But you did not review my favorite. Lightlife Gemme Lean is the best. Best taste, best texture, and best price IMHO. Plus easy to pat them out to what size you need for breakfast sandwich or crumb into small pieces for hash. Love you both and what you do. Thank you.

The pure farmland original skillet fried is AMAZING 4 mins on each side. Maple flavored "meats" always taste weird to me. I'm transitioning to veganism and stumbled across your channel and I'm a fan can't wait to binge watch the other vids! I think Gardein has Improved their products, Now that Morning Star Farms has impoved by going Vegan on some things it is SOOO GOOD!

I don't like the Hilary's Apple Maple one either - But I do love the Spicy Veggie version, I really think they nailed the spices of a traditional breakfast sausage.

The only breakfast sausage brand I have tired is MorningStar Farms. The breakfast sausage they have is currently vegetarian only. I did see one time that my local Walmart had Gardein sausage patties and when I went the next time to get them they were gone and haven't had them back since. I regret not getting them when I saw them. I also has the Italian sausage by Tofurky. Yes I know it's not a breakfast sausage but it was still good. I haven't been able to find it at Walmart in a while.

Gardein is definitely my favorite, beyond goes second purely because of the smell. They are a little more realistic but they have almost a wet cat food smell when cooking that lingers the tiniest bit with the flavor. My sister walked in while I was cooking them and asked why it smelt like cat food, and it was exactly what I was thinking too 😂 and I love the field roast links! Not super traditional tasting but so good!!

I know I’m super late here but the Lightlife Gimme Lean Sausage is my favorite. It’s pretty messy to prepare but has such amazing flavor. I’m surprised that one isn’t in this video.

don't think you cooked those farmland sausages enough. mine don't come out that red and they're my go to sausage for breakfast. they're a 5/5 for me.

New Blue 2 we tried cooking them on a regular pan too based on this suggestion and it still wasn’t for us 🤭 I’ll try the regular one though maybe that will be better
