Python front seat on-ride HD POV Efteling

This Vekoma MK-1200 double loop corkscrew coaster originally used trains built by Arrow, which were replaced by Vekoma trains during the 1990s. During the 2005 season the Vekoma trains were replaced by KumbaK Coasters trains. Toward the end of the 2011 season those trains were again replaced with the latest Vekoma trains, which can be seen at the end of the video and have much more comfortable OTSR (over-the-shoulder-restraints).
Efteling is located near Tilburg in Kaatsheuvel, Holland/Netherlands.

Before walibi came up with six flags holland, this was the thrill-ride in my country. I know there a lot more coasters now but I call this track: nostalgia

This park actually takes care of it's roller coasters. Redid a lot of the track, got the new vekoma trains which are great (and way better than B&M trains with vest restraints that ruin the ride), and you can see it never looks super shaky or rattly over the years. This is how these kinds of coasters should be treated, like Six Flags Over Georgia took care of Ninja (now Blue Hawk), and how arrows like both demons, both vipers, and others could be taken care of/revitalized. Not to mention every boomerang coaster should at least have the new trains.

Another fun fact of the Python is that the track is completely welded together on the spot. There are no bolts that hold the different track pieces together. I don't know if this is the only track of vekoma that has this but it is definitely the first

Same as Magic Mountain in Gardaland,but that type of train came earlier to Gardaland (exactly in 2009)

Why don't Vekoma and Arrow Dynamics come together? Aren't their tracks/materials for these types of rides technically the same?

2019: Vekoma and S&S-who bought out Arrow's old plans, make parts, etc. are part of the same company now. It FINALLY happened.

Although the Carolina Cyclone at Carowinds is, in my opinion, a much better ride. Arrow Dynamics did a better job with the Carolina Cyclone than what Vekoma did with Python.

Python was originally planned to be built by arrow, but arrow was not any more that year, Vekoma took the arrow dynamics coasters over and finished python. So the ride was built by vekoma, but used arrow trains on it. Vekoma and Arrow Dynamics came together. ;) for a small part

I can’t believe they took down the python and added A FREAKIN KIDS AREA!! THEY BROKE THIS COASTER TO ADD THAT!? I really wanted to ride this :C

What are you talking about? They didn't take down this ride. This coaster will never leave Efteling. It's an Efteling classic. They just retracked it couple years ago and its now considered one of the smoothest coasterrides ever. I think you've mistaken 'python' for 'bobbaan'. They scrapped that ride in 2015 for 'max and moritz', a funny double tracked kiddie coaster. However there's a small waving coaster called 'Polka Marina' at Efteling. They will replace that soon for a large kids playground at a whole other side of the park. So you have nothing to worry about. The python is still there

Question: how can Arrow Dynamics copy itself? They build it together with Vekoma: track build by Vekoma, cars and layout by Arrow. Nowadays, the cars are replaced by Vekoma mk1212 type. Which makes it faster (begin: 75 km/h, nowadays: 85 km/h after startup).
