Alitalia's Business Class product is one of Europe's best! The Italian airline calls its Premium service "Magnifica," and after the luxurious experience I had, I can see why.
The name "Alitalia" is an Italian portmanteau of the words ali (wings) and Italia (Italy). As the flag carrier of Italy its main hub is Rome's Leonardo da Vinci-Fiumicino Airport. They have a fleet of 98 aircraft consisting of A319s, A320s, A321s, A330s, 777-200ERs, and 777-300ERs.

I've flown Alitalia approximately one time; on a short-haul flight from Barcelona-Rome on an A320. It was ok, but I swore to myself, the next time I go to Italy, I'm flying La Magnifica Classe" on Alitalia. And with good reason, because this looks great.

Ben Schaeffer my aunt have traveled from beirut to Barcelona nothing happened But on The way back she was At The gate in Barcelona befor The schedual 10 minutes The agent of The gate let her in The airport and she paid her Ticket again

Bro.. The wife and I are schedule to fly to Roma (from Atlanta) in two weeks.. I am not mentally ready for that flight.. Last year, we went to Cape Town, South Africa.. So, it's been a minute since we've sat on a flight for longer that 3 hours (even flying out west) Watching the video, calmed me down some.. Looked to be smooth.. Shared the video with the wife.. Alitalia is a very under-rated airline in the modern travel-transportation industry, despite its clear commitments to service and business, and maybe that's because there's poor marketing regarding today's airline options! They need more ads in prominent American magazines like Vogue, People, and TIME or something. Plus, their stewardesses are the some of the fairest and most professional in the world (comparable to KLM, Air France, and Swiss Air). That's my two cents! Thanks for this video upload. I personally prefer Business to First Class for Alitalia, since it's just cheaper and not much less worldly, no?

You can choose to not watch the content. Or you can advocate for a society in which everyone makes the same amount and thus no one has a leg up. Or you can advocate for higher taxes on the wealthy so his folks can't spend money on him. Vilifying someone because their parents are wealthy though...kinda pointless. That's a thing. It isn't going to change. Do you want to fix it or just complain?

QFS Aviation you could tell, they only do Full length when the plane is at its max takeoff payload.

Yeah. I remember the other time I flew FCO-JFK on an Alitalia 777-200. Flight was maybe 40% full at most. They gave my little brother an upgrade for only like 500£ (Euros), which is crazy cheap if you think about it.

For some strange reason I was fixated on the HALF strawberry on the fruit plate. It was so absurd. I would've used google translate to ask, "May I have the other half of the strawberry, cara?"

Well.. the fact that is in administration doesn't dipend on load factor also because AZ intercontinental flight are always fully booked.. Thanx god:)

ramorro1 hmm I’ve never flown on a domestic Alitalia flight. I know that when I flew Alitalia business class around a year ago from FCO-JFK, and the flight was 60% empty

If I were you I'd reserve a window seat so you can lean on the window. Also consider skipping the meal to maximize sleep.

Are you sure meal looked downgraded? The pasta dish looked fresh and home made and they also give you a second course. It looks much healthier than what people eats at home every day. :)

I thought helicopters were forbidden to carry passengers to JFK Airport ever since the Pan Am days because of the accidents that occurred.

Nice vid, thank you! I have always preferred to fly Lufthansa, Swiss or British Airways across the pond. As Italians can not sit still and make a lot of noise all the time I did not enjoy travelling Alitalia at all. By the way, the second course looks horrible. Did it at least taste good?
