The "smart vagina" joke segment is one of the best in all QI history.

I spat out my drink when Sandi said "I have a woman in twice a week". Still remains one of the funniest, most hilarious things I've ever heard. 🤣🤣🤣

Love it, how Romesh and Alan appear to be such understanding allies on this panel, time and time again, giving each other little glances and finger pointing and cracking up at each other's ideas.

I found one of those gadgets designed to open something in my mother's belongings who is German. The gadget I found was designed to cut off the top of an egg and when I showed it to my husband, who is an American, and asked him what he thought it was, he said it looked to him like a "pecker wrecker". 🤣

As an obese person, I suspect it stems from trauma. Started getting fat in primary school, when the school cafeteria was the only space I could be without being bullied, while the heaviest bullying happened during P.E. class. To this day I connect eating food with safety and sports with physical abuse.

Yep, same. People forget how easily kids learn all the wrong lessons because they aren't in possession of the ability to process things.

I've struggled with my weight since I was a young child. I wasn't even overweight at first, but I had undiagnosed IBS that made me horribly bloated. My mum was a P.E. teacher who had already confided in me that she had doubts about marrying my father because his sisters were all fat. She didn't want fat children. Dieting and body shaming were a way of life at home. I was also being bullied at school, and after school activities (same children), I was emotionally abused by my grandfather and aunts, and I was neglected at home. Food became a way to deal with emotions and also a source of shame and fear. By the time I was ten I was trying to fast to lose weight. I read books and watched TV to escape reality, so I didn't move much, which I was shamed for by my mum. I became overweight during puberty. Especially after my first SA at fourteen. An an adult I keep going from one extreme to the other. I have weighed 54 kg at my slimmest, to 83 kg at my heaviest. Luckily, I never developed a full-blown eating disorder. Now, at forty, I have c-ptsd, OCD, ADHD, and a dissociation disorder. I'm learning how to eat intuitively, but I sometimes still have binges, and I ducking hate my body. I'm in therapy and on meds, but I'm basically disabled. Instead of shaming fat people, we should be making mental health a priority.

I may have to write in to QI now. The version of Morse code they showed is not the one Alfred Vail came up with, which is known as American Morse and included signals of many lengths and gaps of two lengths. What they are showing is the ITU Morse code from over 20 years later. That is itself adapted from Gerke's code which was a simplified version of American Morse that created the standard "dits" and "dahs" we associate with Morse Code. The definition of a cipher and code is also completely wrong.

"I may have to write in to QI now" Like you haven't already set up your writing desk with the blotting paper and and the book of stamps perfectly aligned for your angry letter about how a comedy show got a fact wrong. I bet you write to the Daily Mail to complain weekly too.

@@eddyblackmore4188 I think QI pride themselves in delivering correct information, even correcting mistakes across several years (and retroactively removing points). Don't get too bothered about it, nerds correcting nerds is how the world goes forward

Why was the titanic calling the French? They are so ineffective except for food. Do they even have a Navy? The Canadians were closest, and English speaking Canadians.
