QUADRI: the documentary

5 жыл бұрынThis film documents the restoration of Quadri, the 18th century coffeehouse and restaurant located in St. Mark’s Square. The Alajmo brothers, current proprietors of Quadri, commissioned the film in order to shine light on the work carried out by the talented Venetian artisans who were able to bring the original beauty and poetry back to this incredible place.
Philippe Starck, director of the restoration, affirms: «Quadri was extraordinary, but it was a little tired. We simply looked for its wonders, and we discovered a wonderland.»

Pochi sanno che sotto il leone sulle scale si trova una porta segreta dove si entra in una stanza piena di firme di artisti famosi e alcuni strumenti musicali🥰

Excellent video. I had the pleasure of visiting Ristorante Quadri last year along with Le Calandre, and both were experiences that will stay with me for the rest of my life. Watching this video reminded me how lucky I was to be able to experience this place. Thank you for this.
