I would love to see Wallace's effort of filleting and cooking that cod, The blokes a weapon's grade plum.

Ahhh I like him, he’s entertaining and it’s nice to have an Everyman type of character to balance out the other judges. He doesn’t criticise too heavily as he appreciates he’s not a masterchef himself and he has been successful in the food industry himself albeit greengrocers

These cooks all have restaurant experience, and if they’re going to put themselves forward to compete for a top restaurant, they _should_ know how to properly filet a fish . Even I can do that and I’m only a fish once a week home cook . I’d bet that Wallace can prolly do the basics too (as much as he likes fish ;))

@@willrichards32I like that he encourages them and cheers them on like a coach. I think he has a decent palate, though his standards don’t seem quite as high as Monica and Michel

Saying the kidney tart didn’t look great yet I guarantee if someone like Heston had named it a reinvented Steak bake but with Kidney the man would be praising the genius of it… it’s all to do with perception, and most importantly reputation

I thought so too. I’d enjoy those kidneys with that crisp pastry. I enjoy kidneys, but I don’t like them whole sliced or kidney shaped. I don’t want a reminder of exactly what they are. I’m used to making them for brunch

It's important for everone who watches these cook shows Working in the kitchen you have to be totally concentrated. It's not like at home. You have to be a beast to get those Michelin Stars some of them desire. Becase, Gordon Ramsay was a beast in n learning his skills. His story is so awesome.
@xaoc6084
@xaoc6084 8 ай бұрын
Ramsay was taught by Marco himself, can’t really get much better of a teacher as long as he has the right mind. I say this because at the time he was the youngest chef to get 3 Michelin stars, but he was also notorious for his temper. Something no doubt Gordon picked up on

I'm from the United States and you would never find lamb kidneys on a restaurant menu. I didn't even know they were edible nor do I want to try it. I apologize if that insults anyone from the UKI don't mean it like that. The Cuisine is very different there and you guys eat things that would never be eaten here.

Ding ding , round.... whatever. Only the best chefs go through peeps! "Very focused about making it to the top" but guess what, I've shit my pants and my fillet looks like a fish finger that's been tumble dried and then shot through a badminton racquet. Greg gets smacked in the gob with something that's falling apart, so he's happy.
