Ms. Tee built a life of crime selling angel dust out of a designer handbag in Manhattan. One day, the hustler’s lifestyle caught up with her, and she was shot in the back. And what a time to be recovering from a gunshot wound: she had just given birth and her daughter’s father was sentenced to at least 20 years in prison. Ms. Tee traded in a life where she caused damage in her community and instead began to heal it, running various programs to help the unhoused. She’s an author and an inspiration who shares the highs and the lows of her incredible life story.

I am hooked on your podcasts. I am also a successful returned citizen and the wisdom that emerges from your interviews , inspires me on a daily basis. I went from debutante to front page , Fox News criminal and I am realizing my story is not unique . My experience made me better only because I decided to change my life. Thank you Ian, you are doing something that is changing lives, increasing awareness and inspiring success.

Tea she pretty asf with street creds and had me locked all the way until she said THERE'S NO CODE! smfh woww why'd she have to go there? Ppl there is a code and there has always been a code it's just that it is and always have been ppl that did and won't follow that code and snitch which also is and always has been part of the game your playing in that street life ish alone with the Possibilities of being setup to be robbed and/or arrested and even ,more likely then not, jerk (played) and not get all or none of your money back from the ppl/your runner you give [street] work to among other things. Yea it's up to you to know before hand or learn the hard way during the process and Is maneuva through that maze.. Ms. Tee what happened with and to you in your life (good and bad) is exactly what was suppose to have happened just so yoy can be right where you are today and where you're gonna be for the tomorrows to come. it's seems like you've been a straight shooter up til now so please don't tarnish that. Please don't now start knocking the life that you lived and survived and in a way now still eating from that life. Big ups to Harlem Queen (Wear dat 4life)

When someone is selling 1000 kilos, huh the tend to think they are making a dent as a supplier. Truth is there’s a lot of people from that environment that was selling that much drugs. The problem we never admit is that how that much drugs end up in urban America? It was by design. Can’t find a Cuban cigar anywhere but can find much bulkier drugs everywhere in poor neighborhoods
