Drop of Floetrol in wb stuff helps so much.

Nice job as usual. Your videos are way better when you explain some items and procedures as you go along . Not speaking with only the music I find I am distracted and hard to follow what is taking place . This of course is only 1 mans opinion . Thank you for your videos over the years

Interested to know your thoughts on the quick dry satinwood by Dulux… some 5 or 6 years ago I used armstead quick dry satinwood and their undercoat on my woodwork in my living room… found it very different from oil based. (Was my first time trying waterbased). In some areas over caulk it still feels tacky to this day. Strange I know. Although I did cost over it with quick dry undercoat and it’s now no longer tacky. I’m now doing my hall stairs and landing… and having a lot more decorating knowledge than I did back then I’m now giving the diamond satinwood a whirl by Dulux and their quick dry undercoat underneath. Can’t fault it… done a few test areas before. Sanded back thoroughly, degreased and tack cloth job… dries absolutely solid. Really durable! Does feel different almost plastic like if that makes sense. But we’ll happy with it. With a drop of floetrol on areas such as window cools it really does help the flow and levels off nice. Not sure if you’ve ever used floetrol but you can feel the benefits it gives you with extra flow. I have a feeling waterbased will be our go to system in a few years. Drying time is great and no smell to aggravate my wife and toddler. I will definately be using it more now with customers who have me decorate their rooms. Hope your well mate! Take care. Marc

Not used just a paint brush on woodwork for years, roller then brush out, its all done so much quicker.

If is a new bare door do I apply undercoat or not ! And if I do apply undercoat is it going to be done twice painted

I like to use rad roller then lay it off each to their own . Got to admit getting used to water based paints

Can this be used over oil based Dulux trade satinwood?

Got a job at the weekend where i'm using this , would it benefit with a bit of Floetrol or Zamix in it in your opinion ?

I prefer to hear your commentary rather than music. Your methods and descriptions are way more informative. Your opinions of the paint while working would be more incite full. I know I can just mute the audio, but I like to hear your description of what you are doing. Not a criticism, just a bit of feedback. I know it’s just my personal preference. Many thanks for your videos, I do enjoy them and find them informative and interesting.

Not keen on it. Going to use undercoat from now on if customer wants this stuff. Not my favourite

why you didnt put tape down il never na what happens if paint comes of that brush n onto the carpet has a painter my self i always tape round the carpet that way you get right into the skirting bad video in my opinon !
