I took the first two frames today. Super beautiful girl I met on the beach. I really hope I did the steps right because I think they will be some of my best shots. Totally different vibe out there with this thing on a tripod.

The first roll is looking pretty great. I’ll have it ready to show on Tuesday.

The Pentax is my go to camera and I had two until very recently to solve the multiple film problem, but carrying two of those cameras and lenses is a nightmare. Being able to pre-load 3 backs with one body is incredible. That being said, I’m both going to carry around the RB for street portraits or anything portable for that matter. It’s strictly a tripod camera for me in a very slow, controlled environment.

The Pentax went up to 1/500, but you had to remember to set the shutter speed on the body to 1/4 first. I love having a leaf shutter as the only function. Less screw ups.
