4 жыл бұрынOverview of Scottoiler E-System and completed install of unit on KTM Super Adventure S, initially I was skeptical of the LCD display and thought it was a gimmick but really liked the scottoiler system. But when I seen that this unit was on sale and the same price as the X system (which I originally wanted) I said I go for it.

Scottoiler tell you to use the vacuum tube up under the side panel because some KTMs don't have the carbon filter (that box under the back seat). One of the tubes going into that has a vacuum so the vSystem would likely fit under the back seat and you'd be able to fit it right by the end of the tube, so a clean uninstall if it comes to it. That said, I'm a lazy sack of shite so I haven't bothered going at it, Agree that scottoiler are the nuts.

Wiz, that system does not use a vacuum. Its connected straight to the battery and is monitored by a accelerometer built into the system. So even if the bike is started the oil does not flow unlike the other X System. You can adjust the accelerometer so that it starts oiling at a particular speed, mine is set to 30kph.

X system is better and quicker to fitted as v-ststem isn't it ?:

No cutting tubes that MAY void warranty on a new bike. Also, I prefer that the oil does not flow under 30Kph as set on my unit anything over 30KPH and oil flows again. X system oil flows once bike has started regardless of if you are moving.

Screen to large in the bars IMHO. Agree with your comments SO are brill not messy if set correctly and keeps chain clean

It really isnt, I dont notice it at all tbh...not sure how accurate the filler level is in the unit. Only have filled it twice, will keep my eye on it.

Still going strong zero issues and bike is still on original chain and sprockets after 25K Klms. So a worthy investment.

Picking up my new 1290 sas from m50 Honda tomorrow. Was thinking about the oiler. How’s it working out?

Congrats on the bike fella, is it the new gen 3 model? Or the gen 2 like mine...but the oiler has been flawless and working very well. Highly recommend.
